Pathfinder Cavalier help!

Hi guys, so we will start a new campaing, starting at lvl 9... 46K in gold, my stats are 18 16 15 14 14 14.. im taking all lvls in cavalier, the other members of the party are a summoner, a halfling archer paladin, a sorcerer and a monk..
so guys, any advice on what feats should i take, any equipment, strategies to play it?

My issue with the cavalier is that you're really shoehorned into mounted combat. So take some mounted combat feats then simply maximize that charge damage. I'd say either go for half-orc and pump that intimidate or human for general humany goodness. I'd suggest getting a lance for the charges.

Your mount must be 1 size bigger than you.
Large mounts have problems indoors.
If you are small, your mount is Medium.
Medium mounts do not have problems indoors.
