As the title says...I am still looking for my high-int meh wis army master and as a result was wondering if with the right feats and PrCs if a wizard could be made to do it. Most people would say no...but my idea was to use several feats, ACFs and a PrC that will be listed below...

Feats:
Song of the Dead
two dragon mag feats, one is a prerequisite for the other(though it's a good one since it's vagueness can be used to get a skill bonus on pretty much whatever skills you want.), which gives rebuke(though a weaker one)
Extra Spell(Desecrate)(Don't want to use arcane disciple due to already getting animate dead "on time" via Pale Master and not wanting the wisdom requirement RP-wise, though anybody else who wants to do this can use Arcane Disciple as it works as well.) OR Undead Leadership( get a Necropolitian/other undead Cleric Cohort)
Undead Mastery(If your in epic)
Zone of Animation(If your in epic)

ACFs/PrCs-
Pale Master
Domain Granted Powers wizard ACF

The idea is as follows. Use Domain Granted Powers ACF to get the death domain power, and two feats that give you a rebuke based on CHARACTER level(though it's weaker then a cleric's rebuke power)....then use extra spell and/or undead leadership to get Desecrate(Undead Leadership gets it for you by getting you an undead cleric cohort who can cast it for you.) and Pale Master to get Animate Dead as a spell-like ability earlier then you get the actual animate dead spell. You now have all the basics that make a cleric awesome at necromancy(Deathbound domain, Rebuke, early animate dead and desecrate...

However, the REAL trick is that you have several ways to get potentinally infinent undead that the cleric lacks...

Song of the Dead- Use mind effecting spells on inteligent undead. Yes, I did just say use mind effecting spells on inteligent undead. Dominate Person now works on undead. Dominate a wight, shadow or heck even a vampire and start the spawn chain. Likewise, dominate a slaymate for the awesomeness that comes with them. A cleric can't get dominate without certain domains that are not too good and pretty much all necro clerics will never pick those domains due to better choices(Deathbound and the Divine Magician ACF). Likewise, MINDRAPE now works on undead too, though without reducers your going to have to wait for epic for that one.

Pale Master- Smack things so hard they become a zombie....and you can have any number of these zombies under your command. Go around smacking around commoners or whatever else you want to start adding to your ranks of the dead...

Rebuke/Spawn shenanigans- You have rebuke. Sure, you only rebuke as a cleric of half your character level but that's all you need. At level 12 you can rebuke a wight and start spawn-chaining....If your not going into epic you can skip on this, but if you plan on making it to epic you MUST get Rebuke as an epic necromancer NEEDS Undead Mastery(the feat, not the DN class feature) and Zone of Animation is a nice bonus.

Spellstitiching- You can have spellstitched minions unlike the cleric who can only spellstitch himself AND only if he has the spell domain. Take advantage of this. Spellstitch a bunch of stuff with Animate Dread Warrior and watch as you finally get to laugh at the cleric for once because you have minions who produce you more minions every day...kinda like spawn chaining but more reliable.

For more lulz spellstitch minions you make from your Pale Master zombie generation. Zombies, being sup-par combatants compared to skeletons, are prime candidates to be made into dread warrior factories that you don't send into battle, and since the Pale Master zombies don't count towards your HD cap you can just keep whacking commoners and others with good enough wisdom scores into zombies, spellstitch them all with animate dread warrior so you have infinite dread warrior factories....

So...would such a build work as a minion-focused necromancer wizard who wants to lead a shambling army of the dead?
