Try "Ahearn".

(It's the Anglicized form of "Ó Eachthighearna", or "(Descendant of) The Lord of Horses".)

Maybe pick the name of a famous historical figure or group.

Tairnadal "proud warrior"
Jaeldira "blade dancer"
Vadallia from Cassael Vadallia, a legendary warrior

I usually throw a bunch of relevant words into this here translator (http://fantasyrole.org/translate.asp). Elven tends to produce the cooler names, IMO.

Edit: Don't forget to click "list close words." The dictionary is nice, but a bit limited. :smallwink:

Celts? I never heard that one before... I've seen Spanish, French and Maroccon accents on Valenar characters, it really is a tabula rasa race. I like the Bedouin perspective the most; if you agree you might want to look at Arab names.

Well, given my orc barbarians high mortality rate for horses he uses, I named my horse "The horse of a different name"

So whenever i want to call him, i say a different name, never the same one twice. Really silly, but hey, I enjoy it.
