The upwelling of mana was powerful, teeming with life and the energies of the world underneath ones feet. Standing within an open glade of these woods was a man dressed in formal attire. The man watches the expanse of mountians that have been brought into being before his eyes. He closes the watch like device and sighs. Underneath his forest rises a great and singular peak. Together with the pure natural mana of the forest this mountian brings into being a creature that should have never been. It is a mass of mishapen flesh and confusing anatomy. The creature cannot hold itself together and allows a piece of itself to seperate from the core of itself. The man now watches for any sign of retaliation, still with a look of discontent on his face.

The man summons yet another peak while speaking words of unknown power. The smaller piece of the creature opens its mouth wide and lets loose a blast of incredible energy. The blast decimates the opposing planeswalker's pet. From this blast the creature dies, but another rises in its place. Without compassion the man orders the creature's death to create a floating relic that will bring the end of this world.

The Lightning Lord recoiled once more, but, standing up, he pointed forwards. The Fifth jagged peak reaching the others in height, it burst forward, the top exploding in a shower of lava.

That burst sped through the air, landing solidly on the newly created monster, burning it to crispen cinders. "Beware your own confidence, for it can undo you."

((Don't worry about it. When I had Hedron Matrix in this deck I kept thinking that Emrakul, the Aeons Torn was a 30/30 cause I never seemed to get him out without equiping Hedron Matrix to him during the extra turn he gave me. And that was when I was playing IRL... :smalleek:))

Wolfgang continues to wear his sly smirk, disregarding the death of the monster he pulled from the realm between planes. "I know the limits of my abilities. They far exceed your own. My pride will not be my undoing... it will be yours!" The lands around him and the temple unleash a single burst of mana. All of the lesser creatures explode as the mana contacts them, twisting and reshaping their bodies into a singular form. "Come forth, Pathrazer!" Wolfgang started laughing deeply, seeing what his efforts had brought forth. It was a terrible creation with a mask for a face, arms that ended in hand with more hands with hands upon them, and legs that seemed to be trunks of tentacles trying to learn how to walk. The massive alien beast watched the Lightning Lord with its eyeless face, a deep and foreign hunger driving it toward him.

(Yeah, Skyknight Legionaire/Wrecking Ball would've done a lot to help stop up your advance when I had those two turns I couldn't do anything. Same probably goes for the turns when you were stuck on mana. And I must admit that the whole Countering was extremely frustrating. Reminds me of a counter deck I used to use. Although that didn't have the infect part, which is an ingenius touch.)

((Yeah, that would have probably smashed me without much trouble. I specifically built this deck to be a counter and infect deck. I should probably add some removal, bounce to hand, and other classic blue control spells. Right now it only has infect creatures, the one creature that dies to give me a card to hand, and counterspells. It would probably survive better if it was more balanced))
