most people here will not know him or any of the comics he published over several decades.
let me just say, he was and is an important part of italian pop culture..

Rest in peace. I loved Tex, always dreamed to feel the unending solitudes of the Far West, the mesas, the canyons, the deep skyes and the lore of the natives...

Farewell, Sergio.

My dad loved Tex Willer when he was a kid. I didn't know the creator was Italian.

Dylan Dog, Martin Mystere and Nathan Never filled my young days with dreams, nightmares, and general awesomeness.

R.I.P. Sergio.

Ouch, that hurts. A lot. :smallfrown:

A very sad day, indeed.

I'm actually surprised at how sad I am about this.

Tsk. A sad day indeed. I still read Zagor and even though the I find the plot somewhat lacking at times, it is a great comic. There's also Dylan Dog and Tex Willer and the rest.

He gave word a lot. He will be missed.
