Making a ooze into a magical beast?

Are there any templates that do this? Turning it into a vermin would work as well.

I don't think that's possible. Did a quick search in the Master Template list (http://community.wizards.com/go/thread/view/75882/19869266/Master_Template_List) and only animals and vermins change to Magical Beast. I tried Pathfinder Templates (http://www.d20pfsrd.com/bestiary/monster-listings/templates) too and found nothing.

You really need the Magical beast?

Edit: Half-Farspawn changes an ooze to outsider. Maybe it will help you?

I think Shadow Creature (Manual of the Planes) used to change any corporeal creature into a magical beast, but the template was updated in Lords of Madness, and now it only changes animals/vermin to magical beasts.

Can you tell us a little more about what you're trying to do? The easiest way to abuse templates is to start with Half-Dragon, Half-Fey, or Corrupted by the Abyss, since once you get to the dragon type, or fey type, or aberration type, you can do pretty much whatever you like from there.
