If I'm to understand the question based on assumptions, I would say yes it does.

Mind, my guess is that you're referring to the Improved Calling class feature from Malconvoker now that I took time to look and the Implore spell from Dragon 336? After all, that Implore spell does state any spells or effects that work on Planar Binding work on it as well.

Implore is a spell from Dragon. It's basically a bigger planar binding. And short of digging up my old copy, it would really help if you actually posted the wording.
