I've created images of dice we use at our sessions and would like to replace the d20pro icon with my own dice.
I've located the folder, but when I load it up there is a white box around my dice.
How do I make the dice background transparent??? This should surely be the same as making the gitp avatar background transparent?

Any help much appreciated,
thanks

In order for an image to handle transparency it needs to be a .png or a .gif. JPG doesn't handle transparency. You need to use some image manipulation software like Photoshop to delete the background and save the image as a PNG or GIF.

Technically, it can also be BMP or TIFF :smallwink:

Since a GIF transparency is entirely binary, it can lead to unsightly borders around the edge. So for full transparency, I recommend using a PNG.

You can also use any file format if you simply have a background color that matches the background on which your avatar appears. In this case, the proper RGB hex value is #F0E7D3.
