Anyone play one? They look like a poor prc version of Favored Soul. Any uses/thouts?

They're pretty much a poor version of the Ur-Preist, but the class is honestly not terrible compared to most melee classes.

As a DM, I would allow a player to go into that class and let them choose 1 spell per level from any of the domains accessible to their deity and let them add that spell to the list. Kind of like creating a custom domain spell list. I think if that variant was added in, the PrC would become a much cooler class to go in to.

Also, they cast like cleric. If BoED is in use, they can spontaneously convert spells to exalted spells.

I do always like seeing what can be done with them, I must admit, so I have a bit of a soft spot for 'em.
