Best System to play "The Game" (movie)

So I'm watching The Game staring Michael Douglas with my roommate again (For those who haven't seen it. Watch it, its nuts),

I am struck by how ambiguous the movie and wonder if there was a system out there that could match the bat **** crazy nature of this movie? Especially the creepy tension that slowly builds throughout the movie until you can't tell if the protagonist is truly playing this "game" or if he has snapped and everything is the razing hallucinations of a madman.

Maybe Call of Cthuhlu without the supernatural elements and more crazy?

Anything thoughts?
