I'm looking to get some help with Finishing my Warblade, after getting a lot of great and helpful suggestions in another thread. Right now though it looks like I'm going to be the one absorbing the most damage in my group due to everyone else being a caster of some sort and with me still being very new to the game :/ But I'd also like to find a way to make use of Thicket of Blades as frequently as possible with whatever maneuvers you can suggest that will help. Feel free to point out any mistakes I made here ><

Feats aren't cheap; you may want to consider multiclassing in 2 lvs of crusader instead. So the build might look something like warblade8/crusader2/warblade+2. You still get a 6th lv warblade maneuver, extra crusader maneuvers (which don't need an action to refresh), and free up 2 feats, which could be spent on other options like exotic weapon prof: spiked chain or maybe even improved trip.

You would have 8 feats (1 human, 2bonus, 5 normal) also.

I recommend switching to a reach weapon and having one of the party's casters place a Permanent (http://www.d20srd.org/srd/spells/permanency.htm) Enlarge Person (http://www.d20srd.org/srd/spells/enlargePerson.htm) on you. This will increase your reach to 20ft, making sure that you get an AoO against enemies that even think about walking up to you.

Next, look into a feat called Stand Still (http://www.dandwiki.com/wiki/SRD:Stand_Still). You may want to ditch Quick Draw for this, as that feat is not incredibly useful to someone that is not a thrower or wand user.

There is also a feat (I cannot recall the name, but perhaps someone else can) that allows you an AoO with a reach weapon when an enemy enters a threatened square, not just leaves it.

This is a rather common BFC setup that can be used to keep enemies away from you, as well as your squishy buddies. Remember to get the casters to help you out with a few buffs. Also, a list of your party's classes would help to give you ideas of buffs and other magic support to advise you to request.

You may also want to look into the Mage Slayer (http://dnd.savannahsoft.eu/feat-2759-stand-still.html) feat. This would prevent enemy casters from casting defensively while in your threatened area. Combined with thicket and stand still, this forces them to swift action teleport out of your reach or eat an AoO and make a concentration check equal to your damage if they want to cast. If you take Power Attack and Combat Reflexes as your Warblade Bonus Feats that you seemed to forget about, and drop the martial study for the Crusader levels, you have room for all these nice feats we're suggesting.

Edit: It seems you can't take Power Attack as a bonus feat for Warblades... Well, you could take Blind Fight for Pierce Magical Concealment (http://dnd.savannahsoft.eu/feat-2158-pierce-magical-concealment.html) or Endurance for Steadfast Determination (http://dnd.savannahsoft.eu/feat-2761-steadfast-determination.html) to get the prereqs out of the way.

Out of Curiosity do Thicket of Blades and Rapid Counter stack atop of each other?

Stack isn't really the correct word, but yes, you can combine both to get 2 attacks out of 1 AoO provoked this way.

Thank you very much, I look forward to at least using Thicket of blades to provoke this Counter >< Maybe at least I can do a small percent of damage and not be laughed at by the casters in my party @_@

So here are my Maneuvers:

Moment of Perfect Mind (Counter)
Rapid Counter (Counter lol)
Emerald Razor
Bounding Assault
Ironheart Surge (Traded out Wall of Blades for this)
Diamond Nightmare Blade
Time Stands STill
Foehammer
Mountain Tombstone Strike

How are you getting time stands still? It needs IL17 at least.

Well like I said, I'm still new to the game so I probably overlooked that. Damn ><

Edit: Ah sorry, reading that part now xD
