I assume you used Resilience, since you're still alive, but that should be mentioned. Anyway, as you don't have LoS at the moment, you can't target that power by sight.

Edit: Ah, just realized you failed your concentration check even with your feat bonus, so I guess the targeting doesn't matter. Doing anything different with your move action after the power fails?

@Saiya:Multiple penalties to movement are cumulative, I believe. Squares cost double for being in darkness. That makes the D12 > E11 cost 3 squares of movement, and E11 > D11 cost 2. That puts total movement cost at 5 squares, of your 8, which is over half speed.

Darkness speed limitations are a condition of hampered movement, but it is not technically half-speed (Source: Here (http://www.d20srd.org/srd/environment.htm#darkness)).

Is there a precedent that applies here? Or do you need to amend your movement?

Refs:No, just forgot to apply the diagonal cost immediately, but it's not important; I'll just move directly there, although I doubt it matters.

First: Confirming Sallera's statement on Resilience:

All actions you take while visible to your opponent must be announced. The Immediate Action to use resilience is included in that. You don't need to state how many power points you use, but you do need to state that you use the ability, and you need to state if the damage is completely negated, or only partially.

Your opponent cannot look in your stat block, so it needs to be outside of there.

LOS coming shortly.

@BOB:C12 to C16 is 4 squares. While in the dark, movement costs are doubled. That puts 20 feet of movement above your 30 foot speed (it costs 40 feet of movement to move out of 4 total darkness squares). Please correct.

Just as an FYI, Arena etiquette is not to edit old posts: first to protect yourself from accusations of cheating and second so your opponents are never left mistakenly waiting on turn continuations/revisions.

We generally tolerate making quick, prompt, corrections/additions/comments only if the post is no more than few minutes old and is the most recent in a thread - and even then you may face frowns of quiet disapproval. Except to fix a broken spoiler any post that isn't the most recent, or that someone could have read and be posting a replay to, shouldn't be edited.

I believe precedent for all attack options are that total concealment still applies, even to bull rush. Psionic Dog should be able to confirm that.

so wait, you missed and were charging... at a cliff? no inertia? did you just fail to find the random psion that may or may not have been in the space? did the blundering in any way cause the psion to notice you were there?

It counts as an attack, so even though it missed, it revealed Saiya's location. As for the order of events, yes, a bull rush involves entering the space and then attempting to push the target. Since it missed, no target was found, and since it failed Saiya returned to his original location, as he can't occupy the same space as bob at end of movement.

Good match. For your future reference, I'll just point out that if you get stuck in a fight in the dark again, you can use Targeted powers by touch as well as sight.
