Spells that have something bad happen to you on a failed reflex save, if warped into a ray by a spellwarp sniper (thus allowing no reflex save) - do they automatically affect the target as if the save were failed?

That's the intention, yes.

They made no save, and so technically did not fail a reflex save. So no auto-dazing with a spellwarped wings of flurry. :smalltongue:

they didn't make a save either, so they didn't get to Avoid the dazing effect.

Well, technically, the wording of the spell states "creatures that fail the reflex save" and not "Creatures that do not succeed on their reflex save". :smalltongue:

The Spellwarp ability changes the qualifier for Reflex-save-related effects.

"Even if the original spell allowed a Reflex save to reduce or negate its effect, the ray does not."

Fax is correct - the ray will apply the spell's full effect just as if you had failed your save. The wording is such that the ray does not lose any of the effects of the spell, it merely removes your opportunity to avoid/mitigate such effects with a reflex save.

This means (among other things) auto-dazing spellwarped WoF.

I'm a fan of spellwarping great thunderclap: auto-prone, Fort or deafness, Will or stun.
