Could a Hellbred qualify for Spell Focus (evil)?

RAW, Evil Exception only allows you to use evil spells and magic items. Anything else would just be a houserule. It doesn't allow them to just fake the evil alignment all willy-nilly.

Evil Exception seems to be intended to protect the Hellbred from the consequences of using evil actions for good causes. It doesn't actually allow her to mimic having an evil alignment. So no, he can't take Spell Focus: Evil, by RAW or, as far as I can tell, RAI.
