[Pathfinder] Mounted combat help!

Hello all. So I'm currently running a Pathfinder game (Kingmaker, not that it matters), and one of the players is a cavalier. Now, we've been having questions about his AC when he's mounted. He was under the impression that he gained his mount's bonus to AC from Dex rather than his, but we can't seem to find any actual ruling on it. Anybody have an answer?

Nope. You keep your own Dex.

for the record... i love my mount but his dex bonus is a 0 lol
