So, Psi-Like Abilities have the ability to automatically be augmented as if the creature spent power points up to its HD, since it uses its HD as its manifester level. My question is, should a creature, say, have the Phrenic template, would it manifest Body Adjustment as a Psion power or a Psychic Warrior power?

It should say. I think SLAs default to Wizard, so by analogy this should default to Psion, but I don't think that's RAW.

Since all of the template's PLAs are Psion Powers but only a few are Psywar powers I'd also go for defaulting to Psion.

Use whichever one is more advantageous to you, unless specified otherwise.

I would agree that it should default to psion but ask your dm. If he says psychic warrior it wouldn't be a huge stretch.
