Shopping trip.

We're a bit stuck for ideas. Our party are a level 8 Warlock and a level 8 sorcerer (And I guess a level 6 drow fighter, but she's our slave and I'm loathe to give equipment to prisoners). We've just landed in a port town called Brynnlaw, which as far as I know is the D&D equivalent of Tortuga/Roanapur. We have about 2000gp between us and I am determined to start kitting myself out for war, because I'm starting to plan the downfall of the sorcerer, but that's a topic for another day.

What sort of items would you suggest purchasing with our relatively meager funds that would be useful for the above characters? Especially anything that helps against lightning damage...

if you don't have it allready, i'd suggest healing belts (MIC) and perhaps a few scrolls for the sorcerer of utility spells (would suggest, but i don't know your spells). with these funds though? id' suggest to jsut save it for better stuff, and plot stuff (ship voyage, bribes and the like)
