Mercantile Guilds?

I'm working on a traveling merchant who supplies paperwork, spices and protection. With this in mind, can anyone tell me where I can find stated-out guilds.
I'm looking for mercenary guilds, adventurer guilds and mercantile guilds.

Do any guilds come to mind? Any books pop-up?
