I think I remember seeing a few lists of things in barrels and crates that can be found in dungeons. I think I even remember finding a random computerized generator for it, but I was wanting to put together a list of things that you can find in dungeon barrels.

I've managed to put together a decently lengthy list, but I was hoping for a bit more. Think of it as a forum game. Some of them are a little anachronistic, but I reckon as long as it's not ridiculous it can be on the list.

To quote an episode of Samurai Champloo:

"A guy popped out."

It's hilarious given the context.:smallwink:

I think just about any sort of food or drink substance would be okay.

Make an encounter out of this. Have an Ape-Shaman and his girallion companion at the top of a pile of these, hurling them at the players. Have the barrels fillledalternately with explosives, attack monkeys with class levels, Marbles, Honey, ants, and maybe one fileld with gold if you're feeling nice.

You might find a paladin in a barrel.
