Illithid Like Creatures? Help Me Find Some?

I am running a low level game and a friend of mind told me about a species of Illithid like creatures that were low on psionics but had biotech grafts they would use instead. Any idea where I could find these creatures?

Anybody know the type of creature I am talking about? I remember seeing a picture of one once --it looked like a hulking illithid with extra large limbs.
