Frightful Presence

Something has been itching and bothering me all day... its a deep and horrid itch that i just can't make go away

Does Frightful presence count as a Mind-affecting "attack" I have seen nothing to tell me that it does but gosh golly is it bothering me. Can someone answer this question for me? preferably in a one word answer? (Or a super long detailed essay as to why it does or does not)

Pretty sure [Fear] effects are automatically mind-effecting. Pretty sure Frightful Presence is a [Fear] effect, too.

I'm pretty sure he's asking if its an "attack" or not. And I'm inclined to say "no". All instances of it have it trigger when the creature does something threatening. I.E. it is a result of, not in addition to, the threatening action. A side-effect if you will.

Ah. In that case, no, not an attack. It's more a passive thing that just goes on, in my mind.
