Becoming aware of the screaming man, Findle forgets his pain and confusion, and removes himself as far as he can from him. (if possible near the roots of a tree)
He murmurs a quick prayer, "Gracious lady Chaunthea, please aid your servant in this time of need.", while looking around for something he can use as a weapon.

Velignat will shout You will burn!

He will move to the barbarian and use a quickened entangling acid dragon born breath. The barbarian takes [roll0] acid damage DC 17 for half and is entangled for [roll1] rounds
As a standard action he will use an entangling DFA breath weapon. The barbarian takes [roll2] fire damage DC17 for half and is entangled for [roll3] rounds

Findle grabs some stones and starts casting 'Magic Stone' on them.
What a creature is that? Looks like a small humanoid dragon, better to be careful.
I'm not sure if I can cast 'Magic Stone', but if Chaunthea can't/won't grant me this boon :smalltongue:, I will delay my actions until someone (of the soon to be group) seems seriously endangered, and then cast 'Cause Fear' on whoever endangers ;)

Joss scrambles back from their mad assailant, then briefly closes his eyes. Metal flows from under his clothes, encasing him in a magically summoned suit of plate.

5' step and summon armor using Savnok. (It's not my turn, but my actions won't change).

Velignat moves in and spits a glob of acid on the man, burning off some skin. Ref [roll0] However, he is kind enough to also burn shut the wounds with some fire. [roll1] , which the barbarian doesn't seem to like either.

Doesn't the entangling half the damage again?

Findle starts enchanting some stones.

After the acid and fire, the barbarian is then hit with an orb of icy cold.


The barbarian bellows in frustration and rage. He swings at Velignat. [roll2]; [roll3]

Entangling does half damage so I rolled d4 instead of d8

The barbarian takes [roll0] acid and [roll1] fire damage at the start of valignat's turn.

Valignat will withdraw 30 feet away from the barbarian without provoking.

After the small guy (Valignat) has retreated, Findle uses one of his 'Magic Stones' against the barbarian.Throw Stone: [roll0] (-4 if still in melee)

The cloud moves closer, but stops right outside the shelter. It seems to be looking for something.

About 15 ft away. Feel free to choose if it triggers your breath or not.

The cloud is clearly surprised by the line of fire. It takes a second, and it explodes with thunder and lightning (not destroying it in the process).

[roll1] electricity damage for Valignat; DC 12 Reflex save halves

Knowledge rolls. Not untrained. You'd need planes for this. Your turn. It didn't come closer.

Valignat and is one remaining hit point will roar with anger and walk up to the cloud.

when he is within 5 feet he will let out a short line of acid and a long line of fire. (a quickend entangling dragonborn breath and a entangling DFA breath)

it takes [roll0] acid dc14 reflex save for half
it takes [roll1] fire dc14 reflex save for half and it is entangled so it takes [roll2] acid and [roll3] fire at the start of its turn no save.

The entangling acid and fire seem to hurt it bad. The cloud is now almost transparent, though still easy to make out because of the electrical currents.

Then the others charge in, but the elemental easily evades them. Then it strikes back.

One of the currents jumps to Valignat, while part of the cloud lashes out at him.

Shock [roll0] non-lethal DC 12 fort for half
Should the shock bring Valignat down, then it attacks Irfund, if not Valignat.

Findle hesitates only shortly, then his sense of responsibility takes over.
"I'll help him. Take this abomination down!", he yells, while moving to Valignat and healing him.

The healing brings Valignat back up and he lets out another fire breath.

While Irfunds swing misses, it is the swing from Joss that connects and causes the small cloud to vanish completely.

As the danger fades, the storm lessens as well. Only a drizzle remains of the thunderstorm.
