ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
Skills: Search 5 ranks, Spot 5 ranks.
Special: Magical Training feat or ability to use spell-like abilities.

Class Skills
The pointer's class skills (and the key ability for each skill) are Iaijutsu Focus (Cha), Knowledge (arcana) (Int), Listen (Wis), Search (Int), Sleight of Hand (Dex) and Spot (Wis).

Pointing points: You have a number of pointing points equal to twice your class level.

From 5th level onwards you may also add your Charisma modifier to your Pointing points.

Pointing (Su): You can poke stuff or point at it and stuff happens to stuff. At every level you gain one ability chosen from the list below. Using a Pointing takes a standard action and a melee touch attack (unless the target is willing) unless otherwise noted.

Accuracy
The target touched gains a bonus to its attack rolls for 5 rounds equal to the amount of points you spend.

Alignment
You poke a creature or object. You instantly discern its alignment unless magic is hiding it, as if you were using detect chaos/detect evil/detect good/detect law all at once.

Prerequisite: Any damaging Pointing.

Fist
Prerequisite: Class level 2nd.

Harm
For every Pointing point you spend you deal 1 point of damage to the target.

Harm: The Afflictioning
Prerequisite: Harm Pointing, class level 3rd.

Harm: The Burning
Prerequisite: Harm Pointing, class level 3rd.
If you spend 2 extra Pointing points on this Pointing while using Harm Pointing, your Harm Pointing will deal three times as much damage and all damage is turned into fire damage. In addition, the target takes a -2 penalty on attack rolls, ability checks and skill checks until the beginning of your next turn.

Harm: The Freezing
Prerequisite: Harm Pointing, class level 3rd.
If you spend 2 extra Pointing points on this Pointing while using Harm Pointing, your Harm Pointing will deal three times as much damage and all damage is turned into cold damage. In addition, the area the target creature occupies is covered with a slippery layer of ice for 1 round, until the start of your next turn. Anyone attempting to move through this icy area must make a DC 10 Balance check or fall prone. A creature that runs or charges through the area must make a DC 20 Balance check to avoid falling.

Harm: The Inflictioning
Prerequisite: Harm Pointing, class level 3rd.

Heal

Heal, Greater
Prerequisite: Heal Pointing, class level 3rd.

Irresistible
Prerequisite: Class level 6th.

Magic
You poke a creature or object and notice if it is magical as if you were casting detect magic on it.

Monster

Many
Prerequisite: BAB+6.

Multi
Prerequisite: Reach Pointing.

No
Prerequisite: Reach Pointing, class level 10th.
By spending 2 extra Pointing points, you don't even need to point at your target, turning your Pointing into a purely mental action. You may only do this 3/day.

Power
For every point you spend, the target touched gains back 1 power point, up to its maximum power points.

Reach
Prerequisite: Class level 2nd.

Safety
The target touched gains a bonus to its saving throws for 5 rounds equal to the amount of points you spend.

Skill
The target touched gains a bonus to its ability checks and skill checks for 5 rounds equal to the amount of points you spend.

Soul
For every two points you spend, the target touched gains 1 extra essentia until the end of the encounter.
