So there's this Runestaff. It has Fly, Glitterdust, and Invisibility. But just like the thread title says, I don't know what to name it. Ideas, anyone?

That's should be, not must be, so not every runestaff in existence contains spells which are thematically linked.

Runestaff of negating rogue abilities.

Fly: Climb negated, check.
Glitterdust: Spot & Hide negated, check.
Invisibility: Hide negated (well, not really, but shhh), check.

They all seem like Fey based spells to me so something like-
Wildwood trickery,
Faerie staff,
Natures treachery.

Make it about fey and misdirection and that should sum it up.

How about just feystaff? You can make it an uncommon item, rather than a unique one.
That leaves you open to create a greater feystaff. :smallbiggrin:

I am still watching this thread, and have seen a few decent names, but none that really impressed me. Nothing fey related though, especially when the spells in question are standard tactics.

Well, the standard tactics are also the standard tactics of Fae/Fey/Whatever you want to call them.... But if you don't want anything related to that, OK.

Hmm, how about Dusklight, although that wouldn't cover fly. Get in there, Confuse 'em with a lightshow, and Get the **** out is an overly long, but humorous name. You could call it the Stealth-Stick, since Invisibility is stealthy, glitterdust is good if you get noticed anyways, and Fly lets you move without a sound.
