Build:
Warmage1/Rainbow Servant 10/Mage of the Arcane Order 7/Something 2
Early entry for RS:
Heighten Spell
Sanctum Spell (flaw)
Versatile Spellcaster (flaw)
What you get:
In combat, you get Warmage spells, which aren't terrible:
Orbs, Black Tentacles, Stinking Cloud, Pyrotechnics, Cloud Kill, Disintegrate, Waves of Exhaustion, and a bunch of Prismatics. Pretty decent stuff to be doings with your combat actions. You also get access to these spells two levels earlier, thanks to Versatile Spellcaster.
You also get all cleric spells added to your spell list. Their in combat utility isn't as universally applicable as, say, spraying the battlefield with prismatic effects or tentacle raping anything smaller than Huge, but damn if that isn't A LOT of utility.
Finally, from the spell pool, you get access to all PHB wizard spells. It takes a round to call the spell, then a round to cast it, so their in combat utility isn't great. However, out of combat, you've got knock, fly, teleport, planar binding, gate, shapechange- pretty much everything that makes a wizard good, you get to cast it.
I'm still looking at what feats are appropriate, and also what the last 2 levels should be. DMM through sacred exorcist could be a route. Persistent spells are always cool. There are also feats for levels 9, 12, 18 to pick, and one bonus metamagic feat from MotAO. Being able to do everything is super sweet. Kind of shying away from metamagic abuse. Don't really see this build being about doing a bajillion damage.

Sacred Exorcist + Mindbender for the telepathy (no room for mindsight until epic)?
A couple useful feats- scribe scroll and arcane disciple: spell. Use the spellpool to put a spell onto a scroll, then use that scroll to prepare spells for Anyspell so you can cast in combat. Does have standard issues with using Anyspell on a character without domain spell slots. Rapid Metamagic could also be quite useful.
