View Full Version : AFMBE: Scenario ideas

I'm going to be starting up an All Flesh Must Be Eaten game soon. Due to constraints on my players pool, i'll be doing individual games/scenarios within each session so we won't need to have the entire group together at once.

If anyone were to have any ideas on gauntlets to run my players through, they'd be much appreciated!

If you don't have One of the Living, I highly recommend finding a copy of it. Adds in a lot of new talents, and metaphysics which are fun to play with, and has several post outbreak senario guidlines. Couple of the ones that struck my fancy are:

Skytower tribes
The out break happend over 40 years ago. Humans have taken to living in the skyscrapers of New York (or city of choice), barricading the lower floors and living on the higher ones. Using an intricate network of bridges, ladders and the like, the roofs of several buildings have been connected to provide "safe" transport about town. Scouting parties go out daily to forage for food and supplies and only the oldest members of the tribes remember life before the fall. Every member of the tribe has a coming of age trial at age 18 where they must make their first foray into the world below and bring back something beneficial to the tribe.

Prison of Life
The zombie outbreak was more than a year ago and caught humans by surprise. Now they are only small bands of humans left roaming the country side. Rumor has it that a group has managed to reclaim a prison and have turned it into a veritable fort. Tales of running water, working electricy, and fresh food seems too good to be true, but many are flocking to this prison to find out how real the rumors may be.

With prison of Life you can do most anything. Scavanging parties to nearby towns for food, gasoline(for the generators), and various other supplies. Patroling the land around the prison and removing any "undesierables". Helping expand the fencing around the prison to establish more farmland. "Recruiting" specialists such as doctors, electrians farmers, etc.

Skytower tribes just naturally lends itself to seek and find type missions, and staying alive. Assiting other tribes, and expanding the territory of ones own tribe are also options.

Either one of these works well with a changing group of people since there are so many different options for different sized groups. Hope this helps! :smallsmile:
