Question for 3.5 DMs

For all the DMs, do any of you know a decent character generator that'll let me make NPCs quickly and painlessly?

I've got a slightly large party, with an inordinate number of casters. If I just throw stock monsters at them, they'll keep crushing the fights easily until the fights get so difficult that the casters are challenged, and the newbie melee players get crushed.

So I'd like to find something that'll make this simple for me, letting me stack extra racial hd on a creature, or even class levels.

PCgen works for me. Also makes it easy to swap out feats.

There's a fairly good one here (http://www.myth-weavers.com/generate_npc.php?) you may have to tweak at little, and you do have to do the gear yourself. Go for a large spread, always.

Edit: The creation is for free up to level 5, so it's useful in low level campaigns if you don't purchase membership.

If cranking out monsters and NPCs in hurry is what you're after, this link is actually quick enough to use mid-session (I've had to once or twice):

Use the Quickened Monster Advancer if you just need to crank out NPC and only care what species it is. It'll make everything except a Dwarf (no idea why). It'll assign skill points, feats, and weapons and armor at the speed of "internet."

Use the Random Encounter Generator to create hordes of enemies to throw at your PCs indigenous to the region your session is taking place.

Or, if you just have a specific NPC in mind and want to custom build him but want to do it quickly, try the Monster Advancer and the Treasure Advancer.
