Okay, I'm going to be playing a Sythensist Summoner using a reach weapon.
My Eidolon is large, and has the reach evolution for the weapon in question. So, my question is, what area do I actually threaten?
Two ways I can see to calculate it:
My normal weapon threatens everything further than 5' and less than 10' from me. I add 5' for the evolution, now threatening everything further than 5' and less than 15'. Then I double threat range for being large, so I threaten everything further than 10' and less than 30'.
Or, I double first, threatening everything further than 10' and less than 20', then add 5' for the evolution so I threaten out to 25'.
I plan to use a natural attack to cover anything 10' or closer to me.
