By pimping. Think about it. Your stereotypical pimp wears flashy clothes, drives a flashy car, etc (CHA-boosting items). Why? To boost his leadership score. Hos? Followers. 'Bottom b**ch'?' Cohort. Just have all those level 1 followers max out profession: ho and put their 13 in CHA (probably max bluff for good measure too...). Use the $ to buy whatever you need for your character. :D.

Also, one could go the charles manson route (thrallherd) and use them as sexy assassins....

be sure to call yourself a pinmp named slickback

also: there is this ridicilously expensive item that's named: Admiral's bicorn:

+5 bonus on Proffession Sailor
+5 on all Charisma Checks (inlcuding Leadership)
can be heard by anyone within 100 ft;
range of all classfeatures & effects depending on hearing the wearer increased to 100 ft.
+2 morale bonus on attackrolls, saves and skillchecks for wearer and allies within sound of wearer's voice. lvl 10, req.: Craft woundrous item, Eagle's Splendor, Heroism, Owl's Wisdom, Ventriloquism Stormwrack, p. 131

you could always rebuild this into a a Pimp Hat:

+5 bonus on Proffession Pimping
+5 on all Charisma Checks (inlcuding Leadership)
can be heard by anyone within 100 ft;
range of all classfeatures & effects depending on hearing the wearer increased to 100 ft.
+2 morale bonus on attackrolls, saves and skillchecks for wearer and allies within sound of wearer's voice. lvl 10, req.: Craft woundrous item, Eagle's Splendor, Heroism, Owl's Wisdom, Ventriloquism homebrew

Ranks in profession Pimping allows you to bargain deals between your Ho's (followers), allowing to make more money then the standard profession gains. Contrairy to usual skills you can critically fail and pass your check. On a natural 20 you will make 2.5 times the standard amount of money for a day's work, however you need to make a Profe3ssion Pimping check agaisnt a DC of 11+ town modifier*. If you critically fail a check you lose the time and will have town modifer * d6 damage, if you fail you spend a night in jail and need to pay a fine of 2*town modifier*100gp in cash, according to laws and customs of the area. Having a base of operations gives an untyped bonus of +2 to your Profession Pimping check. Having 5 ranks in diplomacy provides a +2 synergy bonus to your Profession Pimping check. Passin ghte check will gain you 1.5 times the usual amount gained with profession skills, in a night.

To make a pimping check you must have at least 5 followers with Profession: Ho, for every 5 followers with Profession : Ho above this limit will provide a +1 circumstancebonus on the Profession: Pimping check

*town modifiers are an increase in likelyhood you pimp in another pimp's area. this brings additional risks in increasing larger towns. the modifiers as as follows:

{table=head]Town size|Townmodifier
Thorp|1
Hamlet|2
Village|4
Small Town|6
Large Town|8
Small City|10
Large City|12
Metropolis|14[/table]

a Lawful Good sociëty gives a +4 DC on the check, a lawful neutral and neutral good sociëties a +2 on DC, Lawful Evil, True Neutral and Chaotic Good sociëties a +1, Neutral Evil and Chaotic Neutral sociëties a -1 to DC and Chaotic Evil sociëties a -2 to DC

have fun ;)

I submit that profession:pimping is unneccassary, as a pimp simply collects a percentage of the proceeds from his 'followers' profession:ho check. :)

Of course, I suppose the skill could determine what percentage you collect...

By the way, this thread is for funsies. I'm not serious. I'm not playing a character doing this. I'm not in any way endorsing real-life pimping. Just getting that out of the way.

^ You don't critically fail on skill checks anyway.

Find a way to work Stunning Fist into the build, for the Pimp-Slap attack.

Might makes right allows you to add your strength bonus in addition to your charisma bonus to your leadership score.

273: Even if the rules are allow it, every single one of my Unarmed Strikes may not be a pimp slap.

274: I may not start a brothel, especially if my character specialises in Unarmed Striking.

275: The concept of a pimp does not exist in this campaign.

275a: Nor is that an invitation to create the concept of the pimp.

But on topic, what about the circlet of persuasion.

You absolutely need to make pimping skill checks. That's how you keep your hos in line, the law off your back, and other pimps off your nuts.

I just meant that the check shouldn't make money the way other profession checks do, but rather, as a percentage of the sum of one's hos profession: ho checks. Otherwise, a pimp couldn't even afford his gaudy rings and chains :D

on top of that, you still need to negociate with prospect clients the price of the service(s) granted by your follower...

Don't forget the Legendary Pimp Leader prestige class from Heroes of Battle. It gives you a rather hefty bonus to your Leadership score. Plus, Leadership feats from the same book all increase your Leadership score by 1 each.

and don't forget your score maxes out at 25 before epic leadership. Leadership score is measured as: lvl+chabonus+misc+situational bonuses. with an 18 in cha, cloack of +2, the pimphat and other items (like a circlet which would give a +2), and the total package of fairness and generosity it's a stretch ok) a base of operations, great renown, special power (a great pimp slap) you could max out as early as lvl=25-(5+5+2+6)=7

with a bottom bitch (=cohort) of level 5 and ignoring the general rule (specific trumps general :D) you get 2 lvl 6, 2 lvl 5, 4 lvl 4, 7 lvl 3, 13 lvl 2 and 135 lvl 1 ho's. totalling a pimping empire of 163 ho's under you. with my aforementioned rules on profession pimping (jsut to make it easier) you will get (averaged d20 on 10, max ranks, synergy and the base of operations) a pimpin check of: 10+10+2+2+32=56 which would automaticly beat the DC for a metropolis gaining you (for 1.5 times the amount normally gained with professions) 44 gp... at lvl 7!

Also, Dragonwrought kobold. Also, age bonuses. Also, feats for Improved Cohort and the similar one for extra minions.

Also, Undead Leadership.

That seems a little low. I think any ho worth her missing teeth should be able to pull in 1gp/day (more, assuming a decent CHA and the appropriate 'skills') in a metropolis (ho-ing pays, the health benefits just suck...), and the ones with class levels should net significantly more. Really, if you had 163 hos in MY campaign, I'd rule 163gp/day as your cut, depending on how well you rolled on your profession:pimp, of course...(Probably 120-200 though)
