This is more of a fluff question.

Let's say you decided to play a Bard build themed around the "classic" rockstar (I realize some of the playground was alive during the Classic Rock era, so please don't hate mail me...), what would your music selection be?

Personally, my top song is More Than a Feeling by Boston

My Bard's have always been more Heavy Metal themed, but consider the following-

1. Immigrant Song- Led Zeppelin
2. By-tor and the Snow Dog- Rush
3. Hell's Bells- AC/DC
4. All Along the Watchtower- Jimi Hendrix
5. Inna Gadda Da Vida- Iron Butterfly
6. Ballroom Blitz- The Sweet
7. God of Thunder- Kiss

1. Good for big battles, especially when you're leading a charge of dwarves into a horde of orcs.

2. Awesome whilst fighting the BBEG.

3. Best when fighting Demons/Devils.

4. Sneak, sneak, sneak, sneak the rouge past the stupid guards!

5. Mostly instrumental, could be particularily facinating to the stupid goblins.

6. Tavern brawls just aren't the same without this song. DC 15 to tumble with the barmaids! :smallwink:

7. I had mounted a wand of Chain Lightning on my lute. It was EPIC!!!

5. Inna Gadda Da Vida- Iron Butterfly

I can't be the only person who ****ing hates this song. So overrated. He's not even singing. Guy's too drugged out of his mind to sound even close to halfway decent.

I used to have a bunch of MP3s on my cell phone back when I first played a bard. Sadly, never got to really use more than just one.

Inspire Courage: "Eye of the Tiger" by Survivor

Cheesy, yeah, sure. But I had a whole slew of different songs I had picked out to "represent" his different performances. Sadly, the campaign was short lived and I never got to use them. And I have no idea what all they were anymore. But that's the one that started it all, so it's the only one I remember.

Fighting Devils: Shout at the Devil - Motley Crue
Fighting the BBEG: Anything by Ministry
Inspiring Competance- Intimidate: Walk by PanterA
Fighting Demons: By Demons Be Driven by PanterA
Any combat: It's a Fight- 3 6 Mafia (I know its not rock, but damn good song.)

All good songs. I also thing Runnin' With The Devil, Sharp Dressed Man, among others could fit the Rock & Roll Bard

The Reason I want to expand my playlist is because I pretty much have a character built for a PF/3.5 hybrid game.

Here's the build:

Magic-Blooded Jaebrin "Savage" PF Bard (UA variant of the PF Bard) 6/Lyric Thamaturge 2/Sublime Chord 2/Virtuoso 10 (not in this order)

I want to expand my music list so he can be the Rockstar, and his Melodic Spellcasting isn't a boring ability
