For a while now, I've been trying to find games of the following types:

An MMORPG where every player's actions effects the world, like Kingdom Online.
A Superhero rpg that's similar to Mass Effect.

Does anyone know of games similar to the types I mentioned?

Wakfu has a lot of players/world interaction elements, and is free, though, it's still in public Beta. Also, 2D graphics, which might be a big plus or minus.

Eve Online is the first to come to mind.

I played the free trial of Eve Online once in the past. I tried asking some questions in there about general gameplay elements because I really didn't understand gameplay, and instead of help I was taunted to the highest caliber. Another player in a ship one hundred times the size of mine destroyed it a few minutes after that, then taunted me over it.
I ruled out the game out after that.

I'll look into Wakfu.
