Teleporting within a grapple? (Anklet of Translocation in this case)

Umm, so say you're being grappled by a big, hulking ogre or something; can you automatically break the grapple by teleporting out of your space? What about if this teleportation would land you in a space that's still threatened by the grappler? It seems to me that it should work, but I'd like a RAW answer if there is one.

Yes - activating the Anklet automatically breaks the grapple, because you are no longer in the same space as your opponent. The fact that you're still within his reach doesn't matter, because you have to be in the same square to grapple.
