I've got two ideas for magic weapons (and by relation, new abilities) that have been bouncing in my head for a little.

Windsong Bow
+2 Dancing Longbow
This bow functions normally, except when dancing. When commanded to dance, it hovers with five arrows around it. It has two methods of attack:

If it fires an arrow, any ally within 30 ft of either the bow or the target gains a +1 morale bonus on all rolls until the bow's next action. This is a sound based ability, so a Zone of Silence negates it
The Windsong bow can also choose to not fire an arrow, but fire a gust of wind. This functions as the spell, but with a few differences. The spell uses power based on how big the wielder is +1 size category (the wielder is the person who commanded it to dance) and factors so that creatures of the wielder's size +1 are unable to move forward against the force of the wind, or if flying are blown back 1d6×5 feet.

When a weapon with this ability hits, it does its regular damage plus 1 point of "pseudo-damage" to the target's Will Save modifier. This doesn't actually reduce the will save modifier, but treats the magnitude of the modifier as a separate pool of hit points. When this pool is reduced to zero, the target becomes dominated, as the spell dominate monster. The damage pool heals back to full instantly if the wielder attacks another creature while the first one has Command damage.

So what do you think? And yes, the Commanding effect did come from Jayne.
