quick question, from a snag/discussion in a game.
If you cast a spell like fireblade, it takes a standard action to cast. It creates a weapon you can wield like a scimitar (using your standard action).
Do you get to use your fireblade in the round you cast the spell, or only in the next round?
A spell like stormrage takes a standard action to cast. Do you get to use the lightning bolt in the round you cast the spell, or must you wait till the next round for the first use, because the lightning is a standard action?
