Adding non-druid spells to Spirit Shaman spell list?

Any prestige class that grants you a domain adds the domain spells to your class spell list, though you can only cast each once per day.

Arguably, and there have been massive debates over this topic so I'm just going to mention it and recommend that you ask your DM, the Extra Spell feat from Complete Arcane allows you to learn one spell of up to one spell level lower than your highest. (There are multiple interpretations about whether it allows you to learn any spell of those levels from any class list, any spell from the class list of another class which uses the same type of spells [divine or arcane] as you do, or only spells from your class list; personally, I prefer the second since that pretty much makes it an arcane version of Expanded Knowledge; although that would make it more powerful than EK, that's just because of the sheer number of class lists with spells at a reduced spell level, and not intrinsic to the feat; besides, spending a feat to learn a lower-level psionic power is generally more useful than learning a lower-level spell of the same spell level, since powers can be augmented.)

Complete Divine, page 20, explains it. Adding a domain to a non-Cleric class doesn't grant you domain spell slots, you have to use your regular spell slots to cast the domain spells. You can only cast one domain spell per spell level per day unless a given spell is already on your class spell list normally. For a Spirit Shaman, you would have to retrieve a given domain spell to be able to cast it, so it's not a very good option since you get so few spells retrieved of each level, and you would be limited to casting one only once in a given day.

Spirit Shamans are sort of spontaneous casters, so wouldn't they be able to cast those domain spells more than once?
