I believe I saw Gloamings in a 3.x resource. Could someone point out which book they are in? I am looking into them for humor, since I want to play one, as I have a joke to accompany the character.

That would be Underdark, the FR supplement. They do have a lot of comedic potential...

mine is going to be a rogue afraid of brightly lit places. That glows when its afraid, the more scared, the more brightly it will glow.

I will find it funny.
