blinking and teleporting

What's the difference? Can you blink from one point to another or are you blinking like a strobe light?

Strobe light. Unless your using Greater Blink, then it will be much more controlled. Blinking takes you between the Material and the Ethereal planes. Teleporting takes you to the Astral plane for a split second then back to the Material. If Blinking was teleporting it would be a Conjuration (Teleport) spell not a Transmuation.
