what would be the correct skills points if the character is out of the tome of battle: the book of nine swords
Character: Swordsage
LVL: 4
Race: Human
Stats:
STR: 16 =3
DEX: 18 =4
CON: 15 =2
INT: 16 =3
WIS: 17 =3
CHA: 10 =0

for skill points i get 70 skill points if i am correct
the tome of battle: the book of nine swords says is it
(INT+6) x6 + 4 or is it just INT x 6 + 4 for being human for first level
and then 6 + 3 + 1 for each level after
i am lost on this i am not sure if people which is right let me know plus up to level 4 skill point total :smallconfused:

This was errata'ed, IMO, or addressed in an FAQ. The x6 modifier was a misprint. The first level modifier is x4, just as normal.

In your specific example:

3 (Int) + 6 (class) + 1 (human)

times 4 at first level.

The x6 is obviously a typo, and I would be surprised if your DM lets you actually play it that way.

You should get 40 skill points at level 1, plus another 10 at each level up.

It was adressed in the FAQ, but the unofficial Errata also covered it.

by RAW? (6+3)×6+4=58 at 1st level, +6 +3 +1 = +10 per level thereafter, as per swordsage and human descriptions.

sanity dictates otherwise, of course.
