An Annulat is a good choice, especially if you are a Neraph Spellthief.

wand, crossbow, bow (if you play elf).

wand of Orb X and spam it on stuff when you don't need to use your spell's, like a overkill situation, and when something comes that its hard to kill point your finger and it should be dead, if not, you are doing something wrong.

The Reserve Feats are the best bet. My favorite being Invisible Needle, as it also hits incorporeal and it is force damage.

Always loved this for flavor and usefulness. Plus if your a sorc you KNOW you will meet the requirements for this.
