So, a friend started playing a character recently, some undead spawn that he not only refused to say what it is, but won't even say where it's from. It's some vampiric unicorn-like creature that creates a spawn that might have an at will sleep touch attack (can't think of any feats/templates that grant that).

Sorry if information is light, it's literally all he'll tell us. And "us" includes the DM.

I can't think of anything immediately. I say slap him upside the head and tell him to give you a source.

If your DM doesn't even know, then there is a problem. All characters should be reviewed and approved by the DM before play.

Oh, yeah. He's one more rules argument away from getting kicked out. This isn't the first time he's pulled stunts like this.
