In the course of preparing my next session I noticed all Shadowlands Oni hae a Fear Aura that hits everything within 30ft. Nothing I can see in the description of Oni in general, the Outsider type, or the Shadowlands subtype indicates they are immune to this or other fear effects.
So, do Oni sometimes spontaneously flee whenever they gather in groups of 3 or more? Also, since the aura can't be suppressed, do the waves of fear they generate pretty much nullify the usefulness of their shapeshifting ability? (fluff suggests they can, and often do, take the shape of humans to catch their prey off guard.)
