How long does it take to rear a wild animal with Handle Animal skill.
Either I'm blind or it's not there, but I can't find it.

As long as it takes for the animal to reach adulthood?

That's kinda what 'rearing' is.

Well, rearing a warbeast takes 1 year. If you're not trying to apply that template I got nothing.

I'd say, compare to the nearest real-world equivalent animal. So how long does it take for a bear to become grown for owlbears, how long it takes for a lion for a griffon, how long it takes for a horse for a hippogriff or pegasus...

Not sure if we know anything about real-world dinosaurs, but that'd probably be what I'd go to for large reptilian creatures like hydras, if you didn't wanna crib and kludge something out of the dragon growth table's lower bits.

Dino aging can be estimated from fossils- growth rings and so forth.
