So one of the antagonists in a short adventure I'm designing will be the captain of a whaling vessel. His basic shtick is the use brutal throw/power attack with a harpoon, then pull it out and do the same damage it did going in. I recall somewhere there was a feat allowing you to use thrown weapons on a charge (so I can combine this with leap attack), but I can't recall where. Anyone know?

Bloodstorm blade PrC in ToB allows you to do this because it makes you treat thrown weapon attacks as melee attacks, meaning you can use ethem at the end of a charge. I don't know about a feat though.

Found it, cheers. I suppose as the DM, I could rule that the melee attack could be an attempt to grab and pull out the harpoon. I'd let a player get away with that anyway.

I was thinking bloodstorm blade, as it deserves to be in any throwing build, but I have outlawed ToB for this game so it would be slightly hypocritical =P
