View Full Version : skyrim and oots references

Does anybody else find themselves absolutely unable to shut up about OOTS while playing (or watching someone else play) Skyrim? I noted that arcane caster duels in skyrim are often very disappointingly programmed - they just grapple at arms length with clouds of colored light until somebody's health bar vanishes. It kind of looks like the "ultimate duel" between clerics. I get very upset when the boy kills NPCs with names. I also find myself telling him to kill black dragons with "disintergrate" (which is not an elder-scrolls-universe spell, as far as I can tell.)

Anyone else want to vent your geeky observations of similarities and differences?

I think it might be a bit of reaching but with so many fantasy universes there are bound to be some similarities, probably not intentional.
