Looking at it from the Barbarian side of things, pure Barbarian gets it earliest at 9th, since both Furious Finish and Vital Strike require BAB +6. Dipping a level in Fighter at 6th to pick up Vital Strike gets FF at 7th but I'm wondering if there's some method for getting it at 6th. Just to note, its a General feat, not a Combat feat, so Fighter Feat Retraining isn't gonna help.

Secondary thought is whether this is actually worthwhile. I mean, max damage on all your weapon dice seems nice, coupled with throwing every damage bonus I can manage on to it (I know, it won't get multiplied, Vital Strike doesn't work that way) but is that a worthy goal? Is Devastating Strike worth throwing on there as well, when that pops up? Roused Anger is a must for keeping my power flow going, too.

So, Playground, thoughts?

Getting it at 6th? No.
There are (currently) no classes that I know of that get 2 'freebie' feats at the same level.

As for is it worth it? Depends what size dice your weapon uses :smallamused:
*cough* size increases *cough*

If you just stacked damage dealing enchants, jegus that would be crazy. Double normal damage, maximized, and all the other things maximized? Figure out how to get rogue sneak attack in there somewhere and you are talking some serious numbers. Gestalt? Yes please.

Kinda figured that was the truth of it. I can think of 3.5 ways of doing it but that doesn't help me in PFS. Ah well, 7th level is good 'nough.

As for weapon, you better believe I'm going at least greataxe, earth breaker or greatsword for the start and building from there, though not sure if I'll go Titan Mauler or not for something bigger.

Speaking of bigger, I know what you can do with your 3rd and 5th level feats (http://www.d20pfsrd.com/classes/prestige-classes/other-paizo/i-m/living-monolith)...
You really only need the 1st level. That's where all the goodies are.

Vital Strike's inverse scaling is painful; see if you can get your DM to fold them into a single feat based on your number of attacks.

Roused Anger is a must for keeping my power flow going, too.Or you could play an undead/construct and be immune to fatigue.

Also worth noting: Sap Master (http://www.d20pfsrd.com/feats/combat-feats/sap-master-combat), Scout (http://www.d20pfsrd.com/classes/core-classes/rogue/archetypes/paizo---rogue-archetypes/scout)

Maybe be a half-giant wielding a cannon?

EDIT: Juju zombie Half-giant Barbarian 1/Gunslinger (musket master) 3/Rogue X

Yeah, Devastating Strike is kinda underwhelming by comparison. As for undead, how do you suggest achieving that purely PF? It's not like I can go Necropolitan or anything.

Sap Master requires a significant amount of investment in Rogue, Ninja or Pistolero to really be worthwhile, which takes away from Barbarian, which is what I'm primarily aimed at. Half-Giants and cannons aren't available to me, either, though that is an amusing thought, all told. 72 damage before everything else is considered is a nice way to force a massive damage save or die, certainly.
