I have a gestalt psion//factotum character with 8 levels in factotum, and have a spellthief in the party. I was wondering, what are the best buff spells to use in this case? I prefer spells that last for 10 min/lvl or more, and aren't personal spells. the reason I want the duration and the 'buff' status is because we get unlimited use of them so long as the spellthief is nearby, but we want them up for awhile in case we get separated, and it takes a couple of rounds for him to steal, then cast.
I have 2 2nd level spells and 1 3rd level spell. Right now I'm going with Heroics (Spell Compendium -- free fighter feats for everyone!), Heroism (yay morale bonuses!), and Owl's Wisdom (low duration, but needed by the marksman in the party for Wis bonuses, but he doesn't have a Wis-boosting item).
Once I have another couple of levels, I'll take Heart of Air and Heart of Water, but HoA isn't that great by itself.
Anything else that works well here?
