Greater Magic Missile Question

If anyone has played NWN or DDO they would know both have improved Magic Missile spells. NWN had Isaac's lesser/Greater Missile Storm and DDO has Force Missiles and Chain Missiles.

My question is are they unique spells to those games or are they found in sourcebooks? If so can someone point out to me which ones? I'd hate to homebrew an existing spell like these ones for a campaign just to be shown the original :smallannoyed:

The Isaac's spells are unique to NWN as far as I know, and are generally considered overpowered. At least one of Force Missiles and Chain Missiles is in D&D 3.5 in Spell Compendium, however.

Just confirming that Force Missiles and Chain Missiles are both in 3.5 Spell Compendium.

Also, if this interests you, there is a prestige class Force Missile Mage, found in one of the Dragon magazines.
