"Before the First Era, the Aether stood empty and the worlds barren"
-The Book of Creation

From nothing you are born.

Even in your new-born state, you can feel the power pooling within you, begging to be unleashed. To create, to mold, to shape, to guide... Even to destroy.

The Nothing swirls around you, and slowly you realize that you are not alone in this space. Very simple matter floats all about you, cradling you almost. You are floating in the Aether, the source of all creation. You extend a tendril of will and note(With a bit of satisfaction) that the Aether responds to your thoughts, moving a bit as you flex your mind. With this you will create or destroy.

You drift aimlessly for a bit, when a brilliant light comes into view. Amongst the Aether drifts a brilliant blue star, blazing hot in the Aether. You are drawn to it and find that just by thinking of the brilliant star, you are pulled to it. In short time, you are pulled through the surface of the star and arrive in a bright hall filled with burning braziers and white marble pillars. A single circular table dominates this room, with ten chairs set around it. You are in the Hall of the Ten.

A (relatively)short distance from the star is a planet, with not even a name. It is a cold planet, with no discerning features. It is simply a sphere of gray stone. But within the stone pulses raw Aether. This world will be easy to change.

Much further away from the Hall of the Ten is another planet without name, this one made of black stone. There is much more Aether here, so much that the power could overwhelm any attempting to shape it. Those wishing to change this planet will find it dangerous to change.

RULES
Just a reminder of the rules
You gain "Divine Points" that you could use on a number of different effects. Each Round you will gain more based on a number of factors, but always at least one point. You come into play with three Divine Points
Things you can do with Divine Points:

Create an Artifact: Artifacts are powerful tools, weapons, armor or items. When you create an artifact, you decide what it's effects are(Use discretion, anything too overpowered will be denied, but remember that you are a god and that they will be powerful).

Alter the world: At the moment, the world does not even have a name. You can create mountains, oceans, swamps, forests, caves, whatever you want. As it goes along I will keep a map(Unless someone else volunteers to do it, I only have Paint).

Alter the Aether: The Aether is the realm of the gods and their servants. Altering the Aether can mean creating a massive floating palace, a moon for you and your followers, stars, nebula, comets, and other things. Use your imagination.

Create Life/Alter Life: You can spend faith points to create life. When life is created, you must define what it looks like and where it lives(Life would probably have something to do with your spheres...). The first few generations will worship you as their creators, provided they are sentient.

Grant gifts: Give a creature supernatural strength or speed, a Warrior mighty prowess in battle, give massive amounts of gold to the faithful, or just about anything else it's your choice.

Create an Avatar: Avatars are weaker versions of yourself used to traverse the world. They are mortal and contain only a fraction of your power, but are still far more powerful then most mortals.

Create: This allows you to create objects, buildings or minerals and place them either in the Aether or in the world.

Create Minions: Seperate from the creatures of the world, Minions dwell with you on the Aether. They serve as your personal soldiers, servants, guards and messengers. They can take whatever form you desire.

Anything else you can think of is fair game too, just let me know beforehand.

Other Rules-
-No God-Wars for the first three rounds.
-Rounds will end after three or four days, or after everyone has gone at least once.
-Surplus Divine Points will carry over between rounds, but no more then five.
-You can create life, pass messages and commands and guidance down to Life, but you can not personally control life. I will type up descriptions of Mortal Affairs.
-You can use as little or as much detail as you want in describing things, but if you use little detail, I'll fill in the blanks for you.
-If you want to do something without the other players knowing, PM me.
-FEEL FREE TO SUGGEST CHANGES. This is your guys game, not mine.
-HAVE FUN!

Moskul will alter the aether, creating two triangles of three bright stars. The center of one triangle is to the north (I suppose it defines north; it's just perpendicular to the sun, centered on the sun's orbit) and the other is to the south.

Current action points: 2.

From the void, twin forms are cast at the same time. One the graceful avian form of Moskul, which spreads his wings, creating a sun to heat this world and to light it. The other, a quadrepedal behemoth that dwarfs several of the others, plantlife bursting from his shell, most notably a giant tree that shoots up from one side. Thus, Nordul comes to be, and regards the barren gray world.
"Hm. Jim Bob, Whidel, shall we set the world up for our fellows to begin populating? My brother has brought light and warmth to work with already."
He shakes his branches, and seeds of all types fall across the barren world, waiting for the work of the other gods to help make the world hospitable.
(Spending two points: Create Life (nonsentient plantlife) and Alter the World (make all plantlife abundant-forests of trees and kelp, fields of long grass and bushes, and so on.))

"Of course Nordul", and promptly shapes the world before him; adding oceans, seas, lakes, streams, and rivers. After that, he then shapes the terrain adding mountains, valleys, plateaus, trenches, and islands while still maintaining large fields throughout the world for cultivating. "How's that?" Asks Jim-Bob

And so it was that the ten deities were formed from endless nothing, each from concepts that they would bring into being. They would bring order to Aether, and life upon the world.
-The Book of Creation, opening of first chapter

From the uniformity of formless nothing, a change suddenly emerges, an odd occurence in eternally empty existence that the universe has known thus far. Ethreal wind slowly picks up bits of nothing, and from those small bits and pieces a humanoid figure is evantually assembled. Even if having been in existence for mere moments after his creation, the young god understands his purpose and knows his name, turning to regard his fellow gods with a grin that many will come to know as his basic expression in the future.

Nodding at Nordul while laughing a bit, the cloaked god speeds across the empty skies of the world, watching as his fellow god lays the foundations of life to the empty, dead world. Still, it lacks many things... And Whidel in particular finds the emptiness of it's skies very saddening. "No, this will not do at all... Something needs to change" he speaks to himself somewhat absent-mindedly. Stopping for a moment, he hovers high above the world and takes a deep breath, his godly power surging as he exhales the first breezes, his breath giving the world wind and atmosphere. They help to spread the vegetation even further, and it pleases him, for he is also god of Life and as such everything from smallest cord of grass to mightiest oak tree falls under his care as well as Nordul's.

And from the first breezes of the world are formed the first sentient race of the world, their bodies that of breeze and their minds as playful and carefree as that of their god's. For they are Air Elementals, the first creations of Whidel, and the new world will be their home from now on.

"Hehehe... Top that if you can!" he says, smiling at the rest of the gods before forgetting about them for a moment and joining the Air Elementals in their game of tag across the newly-created sky.

Spending 2 Divine Points, 1 to altering the world (creating Air and breezes) and 1 to creating life (Air Elementals)

Remaining Divine Points: 1

As the land twists to Jim Bob's liking and water flows, the seeds begin to work their way into the fertile, new soil, spreading roots to find the water. As Whidel breathed life into the world, they flourished, flora of all types springing up in all ecosystems across the new globe. Nordul saw this and showed his approval at his fellow gods' works, before looking at the second world.
"Shall we work on this too, or leave it for now?"

Mzuuthn'liex

The eyes of Mzuuthn'liex opened, the realization of his existence flooding his new awareness. First for his eyes to gaze upon was that blue star.

And then, he was crammed into a chair clearly designed for a tailless entity a fraction of his size. Infuriated, Mzuuthn'liex smashed the unaccommodating seat. It just wasn't enough. Taking flight from the Hall to farther parts of the Aether; Mzuuthn'liex roared, the bellowing shout resonating throughout existence so that all would know the want for more.

So it was that the beginnings of Greed seeped into the universe.

-

In flight, two planets were observed. The first, the other gods had began their work upon. The second, the sphere of black stone, floated off in the distance. Pristine, untouched, unmarred. Rich in raw Aether.

Upon the surface of this black rock, Mzuuthn'liex unleashed a serpent, of stature great enough to wrap around the world many times over so that little would not be covered. Slithering over the rock, the serpent's scales eroded and carved. Regions more traveled were cut deeper, becoming valleys and canyons. The freed rock, eroded into fine sand, was thrown into the sky in the serpent's passing. As the serpent moved, it devoured and absorbed aether from the rock into itself. After a time, the serpent, sated from feasting, ceased it's travel and went into a deep sleep. With nothing stirring the sands of the planet into the sky, the sands settled down onto the world, covering the land and burying the serpent.

Here, under the desert world, the serpent would lay until woken from it's deep slumber by Mzuuthn'liex.

[[Summary: Using a divine point for Mzuuthn'liex to unleash a roar that introduces greed to living things present and future. It need not be an intense all-consuming greed, everything will experience greed in some form or another to varying degrees.

Using a divine point to create a giant, world sized serpent on the black rock planet that will slither around the land creating canyons and valleys and desert while consuming raw aether from the planet itself. Perhaps this consumption of aether from the planet will make it less dangerous to change? The serpent will eventually settle down and sleep until awoken by Mzuuthn'liex.]]

Vel'Kor

And so he of stood gazing upon the black world and the white world longingly, for he loved life and that wit which one could work, yet he loved the minerals and rock, and in both he loved magic. And so, finding himself unable to restrict himself in any sense, he sent forth his thoughts, and created the grey world, where magic was balanced, still dangerous but still light, where life could exist in a semblance of harmony, and artifice could still have great power.
From the Book of Stars: Part 2, Planets of the World, Chapter 3: The Grey World

And in truth, that was exactly what Vel'kor did. Staring withing the void, he created a midway planet, which would link the two, and combine parts of to.

First, he created the planet, but that in and of itself was completely lifeless, lacking in energy. Next, he breached the planes withing themselves, creating 4 small portals. 2, doorways between The Grey and The White. 2, doorways between They Grey and The Black. These portals in the planets core, would leach energy between them, truly creating the grey planet, a planet that would have aspects of both world. These portals could move objects, but would likely never, and should one will enough, it could theoretically make the white or black worlds energy affect the other. This however Vel'Kor ignored, being to happy with his creation, as it bore what would be the seeds of life, and it had the minerals of the dark planet.

1 Point: Create The Grey planet, a planet in between the Black and The White.

1 Point: Create a doorway between The Grey and the White Planet, making The Grey have mana bearing the White planets properties.
1 Point: Create a doorway between The Grey and the Black Planet, making The Grey have mana bearing the Black planets properties.

These to acts make The Grey being as magical as either of the others, with the magic being slightly dangerous (The only known effect so far)

Kar-Leon opens his eyes for the first time, and knows. He understands how to create something, from nothing.
He travels to the Hall of Ten, and observes what what his brothers do. He frowns at Mzuuthn'liex's actions of greed, for greed is not good. He understands good.
He observes the two original planets. The first one is easy to shape, willing to follow commands; the second, however, is much more dangerous, hard to shape, and able to harm even the gods if they try to interfere. He decides to leave the black planet alone, for now. He then turns his attention to his brother Vel'Kor, for are not all the gods brothers? He is impressed by what he sees, the creation of an entire world from nothing, linking the two original through there.
He takes inspiration. He wills another world into existance, one far smaller than the other three, about a quarter the size of the first planet, and places it into orbit around that planet.
"To give light and inspire goodness in even the darkest of nights" he says in his deep voice. He creates the new world, the Moon, as he calls it, from the purest of Marble, gems, gold, silver and platinum. Upon this moon, he constructs himself a vast library made of the finest of emeralds, rubies, sapphires, gold and silver. To assist him in filling his vast, empty library, he creates beings. These beings are created vaguely in his likeness, in they have two legs and arms, a torso, and head. In addition, he gave them wings to be able to fly in the atmosphere of his world.
Satisfied and tired, he rests.
Expended three divine points:
1) Alter Aether: creating Moon
2) Alter Aether: creating the Divine Library
3) Create Minion: my beings (Unnamed yet, but based on Trumpet Archons)

Nordul watches the three others work, before going to the one with the eldest world first.
"Mzuuthn'liex, though your first words to this work were of greed, would you join us all in our works, and in turn be worked with in yours? This offer shall be extended to each of our siblings, however your world that you do seem to covet seems like the one to help first, as others will need time to be worked upon. I offer the seeds of life I have remaining to help your world's eventual mortals survive. In turn, all I ask is that in this formative time, you agree to help if need be."

They shall respect Nordul's work, harming not a single leaf; they shall life on the fruit of the plants, and thus bring life to where there is none."

And on the hard world a new sound comes forth, far sweeter than the howling of the wind or the crashing of the waves. For the songbirds had appeared.

He had taken enough time to consider the planets. One light and one dark. One covered in life and the marks of its siblings, and one relatively untouched. And then there was a third choice, the balance between radicals.

His first act was to descend upon this Grey planet and forge a great hammer from its mixed magic. For now, it would aide him in his work, and in time it would pass on to his faithful.

His second act was to strike the material of the Grey planet with the hammer, raising a massive mountain, dormant from the outside but filled with molten rock, winding tunnels, and great caverns.

His third act was to combine the properties of the Grey planet, both physical and magical. He forged a great many suits of armor, beautiful in their functionality. Inside each suit of armor he sealed a portion of the planet's magic, bound in place with carefully constructed runes.

These last creations became the Golems, and their home was the mountain, and their creator was Voroshk with his great hammer.

1 point to create the hammer artifact, with the ability to shape the earth, and create great works of artifice, including life.

1 point to raise the massive dormant volcano.

1 point to populate the volcano with the Golems. I'll call them Golems for now, but Voroshk isn't very interested in naming his creations. He will leave the Golems to name themselves and their mountain and his hammer and possibly even himself.

EDIT: just to avoid any confusion, the Golems are not minions.

Following the conversation of other deities while lazily floating in the upper atmosphere, the god of Air and Life smiles to himself. They are all so serious, so...formal. Aren't all of them family in a sense anyway? He sees little value in bickering and debating for the moment: they have just come into existence, so why not enjoy it for a while before going all serious?

"Well, we have not even as much as named these worlds yet, you know" he speaks, his words echoing through the expanse of known creation, small bubble of being in midst of Void surrounding it. "Maybe we should do that at least before going all formal about this? Oh, and we might want to begin talking who is going to rule what... It will be sad if we end up arguing about it afterwards, wouldn't you say my brothers?"

"It would seem that given enough stress, the Aether will shift and reform to accomodate the source of the distress"
-From "Commentaries on the Mysteries of the Aether"

The Aether groans as the new gods shape it to their will, working wonders upon the once-barren planets and bringing life to them. Again the Aether groans as the third world comes into being. And finally, the Aether tears, a chaotic storm tearing through the fabric of creation. Every god feels a terrible surge of power in their being as a terrible storm engulfs the three planets and the Hall of the Ten.

When the storm ends, everything is as it once was, the Aether again whole. But amongst the god are four new entities, born of the damaged Aether.

The first is Locathan the Destroyer, the god born of the quiet void of the Aether.

The second is Mordeshul, born of the fiery power of the Aether.

The third is one entity in two beings, born of the gulf that even now has begun to seperate the gods. It's name is Fel and Tel.

The final is a fearsome aspect of chaos, a twisting form with an Alien mind born of the secrets of the Aether. He is The Nothing.

The new beings drift for awhile. Even from your various perches, you can tell that these beings are filled with the same power you have.

We will now begin the 2nd Era.

To populate these places of fire and death, he created a race of scaled flying creatures that breathed fire like his mountains. Finally, he created a race that could live of the land. Gazing upon the works of this upstart, the Great Dragon roared in fury, "You, who have created mortals in my image. With this, do you wish to provoke or flatter? Had you the wisdom of Doga, you would know the latter would earn them my wrath, and the former your destruction. To assuage this grievous impropriety, I offer you this:

Command your creations to also worship me as well. Dragonkind out of respect, and humanity out of fear."

Calling out to the dragons, gathering one fourth before him, the Great Dragon uplifted the assembled into the Aether. Their hides turned black, a reflection of the Great Dragon Mzuuthn'liex's obsidian scales; willingly or forced, they entered his service.

Tel drifted by herself in self, confused and scared. She could feel the power and strength inside her but could also feel the power of tthe other gods. What could I do that my new brothers can not? They fight why can't they just be fair Than as she was still being formed was another being lke herself. They fight but two can be better than one. We are total opposites except for one thing we are alone. If we are one entity we can create a balance, something no other gods can do and something they won't want. I'm Fel.
Fel puts out his hand and Tel takes it ad she tells him her name. When the Angel and Demon in one body take flight though the Ather. Then they sense a unique feeling a feeling of great want affecting all life. For every act of greed there must be a act of goodness, agree? yes balance should be kept among mortals

With a nod, he turns to the other two.
"What of your worlds? If none specifically desire aid, I shall with hold my power from these worlds for a while. I plan to make a race of my own soon, and I know what I wish to teach them."

"I will gladly accept your gifts on my Moon, brother. I wish for it to be a place of peace and learning." Kar-Leon says in his deep, booming voice.

With the rupture of Aether, Kar-Leon is scared. For the first time, he has found something that he does not know. He vows that he shall find a way to prevent it's happening again, or something even worse. He calls out to all his Brothers. "BROTHERS! We must exercise caution! We have tried to do too much, too quickly! I fear that if we continue at our current pace, I fear, yes, fear! that something horrible shall happen to this Aether! We need to band together to find a way to prevent another breach of the Aether!"

Kar-Leon then notices the actions of his brothers Mordeshul and Mzuuthn'liex, and frowns, deeply disappointed. He sees how the races of Mordeshul lie, cheat, and kill each other. He knows that this is not good, and it saddens him. Summoning Power from the Aether, Kar-Leon imbues all sentients, those current and those yet to exist, with the Knowledge of Good, and with the desire to want to be thought of as good by their peers.
He then directs his minions to guard all sentient beings, and to whisper, unnoticed, to them the morally just and right thing to do in any given situation.

He then turns his attention to creating his own sentient species. As with his minions, which he has named Samaritans, he crafts them to be vaguely in his image. But instead of having wings, like the Samaritans, these creatures have just two legs to move around with. These creatures, he calls Elves.
Two Divine points used:
1)Manipulate conscience (Granting the knowlege of the diffrence between good and evil, and the desire to be thought of as good)
2)Create Life: The elves (Like D&D elves, but taller with an average male height of 6 foot 2.

Moskul, after searching the earth for a time, raises a sheer mountain of marble by the shore. It slowly shapes into a great tower, topped with a clear dome of crystal, under which a simple altar stands. As Moskul wheels around the tower, a smoke rises from the altar, followed by a golden flame. The flame bursts forth and flies out into the air, splitting into thousands of golden balls. Each ball turns into a great golden bird, just shorter than a Terrani. These are the Crevain.

Than Moskul cries, "You have been given minds, tongues, and this temple for a reason. Take care of needy wanderers, and guide travelers seeking refuge to a safer place. You may scatter across the earth, and eat the fruit of the land. Yet remember that you came from smoke, and not from gold; do not forget my commands, or eat the leaves of Nordul's creation, or you become smoke once again."

2 divine points spent: 1 create sentient life,
1 create building.
1 divine point remaining.

The Crevain are shaped like ravens, but obviously a good deal larger.

The Hall

He appeared in the middle of the Hall, tentacles forcing their way through nothing to exist, pushing more into existence. With a slight pop The Madness finished creating itself and looked around.
{How odd. I don't seem to have a chair. I should rectify that.}
With a swish of a tentacle (that came from somewhere in the depths and anyone looking would swear wasn't there a second ago) a gigantic chair appeared in space. It hung there between the White Planet and the Blue Star.

{Hmm. Actually it would probably be better looking like this.}
Another swish and the chair collapsed on itself, to create an odd, rather fluid planet.
Another swish and a series of...Odd Things appear scattered around the land. They all have 2 or more eyes, tentacles and mouths with razor-sharp teeth. The majority of them have limbs of some sort and some may have a rudimentary slime form they can turn into. They are the Things.
With their creation, every being, Mortal and Divine, shivers without knowing why.
On the very top of the planet (top of an orbiting, rotating sphere. You work out where it is) a chair rises from the ground, it is quite basic, just a wooden chair but as it starts drawing power in from it's surroundings it starts to improve. After a short while a ruby appears above the headrest, the first of many improvements.
{Greetings Things. Welcome to Life. This Chair here is not to be touched unless you are completely irreconcilably Insane AND the natural leader of the Things. If you are not you will die a most horrible, horrible death. Well goodbye}

3 DP
-1 to make Euclidea (the planet)
-1 to make The Chair of Madness
-1 to make the Things

The Chair of madness is like the Sword in the Stone with 1 small change. If you aren't the proverbial Arthur your soul is peeled off layer by layer as your worst fears, deepest desires and passing emotions are lived through in the most horrible way imaginable (desires become sickening, fears amplify to massive heights etc) before your mind is twisted into a pretzel (literally and figuratively) and you implode.

Euclidea is an odd planet. relative distance means nothing, only links. Each 1square kilometer is it's own area, linking to 4 different areas that could be on the other side of the planet. This is generally a 2-way street but sometimes go completely wrong, with your body position and orientation determining which of the options you go to.
Regardless of actual links, whenever a traveler goes over 10k in the one direction (never turning to the back, left or right for a link) he jumps to the Chair of Madness.
The actual order of the links change depending on which day of the week it is as well as odd/even years/decades and if too much magic is in the air (it partially stabilizes the movement so you can move truly (or to completely random places depending on whether you ask a visitor or a native respectively))
Example of directions (which must be carried out in order): Forward, back, Left, Right, Crabwalk-Right, Spin left, back backwards, front while looking backwards

Voroshk spends his time watching his new creations. They are infinitely more interesting that his brothers out in the Aether, squabbling and getting in the way. He decides that what his Golems need is inspiration.

Voroshk visits each Golem, carving his commands into their metal bodies:

Expand
Dream
Succeed
Worship

Lastly, he carves the most important of all, more than a single word:

Prove your worth through artifice and battle, but never harm your brothers.

His creations now truly complete and prepared to begin his work, he disposes of his great hammer, giving it to the Golems to help them craft their empire.

Voroshk then rises above the Grey planet, finally looking out at what his brothers have created. Sufficient for novices, he admitted, but sadly lacking. With a wave of his hand he distributed his thoughts to all sentient life, imbuing them with the desire to create and wage war.

1 point to finalize the Golems.
1 point to spark innovation and warfare in all sentient life.

The Hammer of Voroshk is now in the hands of Voroshk's Golems.

The infinite night of the aether smiled, and so was born Locathan, the End of All Things.

This will do.

It looked across the vast empty space, and saw all of creation expand before it. The emergence of life and of reality, rising to a peak, and then falling into its eventual fate. Everything had an ending, everything a beginning. Locathan would make sure it escorted it all from the start to the end.

It's tendrils wrapping the White Planet, the Entropic lord wove a new race, of sorts. It was smaller than the tiniest insect, less full of life than the most placid plant, more deadly than the greatest weapon. It was the first virus, and was created to bring pain and fear to all life on the planet.

Locathan turned it's attentions to the heavens, then, and molded a vast cloud of Aetherial dust, made from the same substance as the Black Planet. It imbued this new creation with sentience, and it spread out across the cosmos. It had no name, and but one function - to find matter and turn it into itself. Just one could turn an entire star into another cloud. But Locathan knew that the cloud would never reach the white planet, at least for a long while.

Finally, Locathan brought into being a perfectly round black sphere, and hid it deep in a cave on the black planet. It was to become known as the Ender's Stone, for it was said that if anyone was to get a hold of it, it would imbue them with the ability to save or destroy creation. Whether this had any truth to it, was anyone's guess, as knowing the End of All Things, it is possible not even it knew the true function.

1 - create virus
1 - create cloud of intelligent strangelets
1 - Create Ender's Stone

Nordul watches the movements of his brothers, before being surprised by the appearance of new siblings.
"I apologize, Kar-Leon, I think I need to use it first, but I will give you a gift soon. I wish to make a race of my own, soon."
He brings his snout down to the soil of the White Planet, taking a sturdy rock. He takes a single seed, and plants it upon the rock, where it begins carving it into a small, bipedal, reptilian form. The seed then burrows in, and the creature blinks, and looks up at it's creator.
"Yes...you look like a good being, little one. I will name your kind the kobolds."
The little lizard looks around, as more seeds fall amongst the land, and dozens more burst from the soil.
"Ha! Good! But, something is missing...I know."
Several flowers on his mighty shell open, and pollen goes through the worlds.
"As my brothers give life new thoughts, I give to you and all others the knowledge to protect yourselves. May it aid you all."
The pollen spreads, and the people of the worlds suddenly know how to build shelter, clothe themselves, and otherwise protect themselves. He withdraws his head, watching with contentment as his kobolds begin to dig, build, and fortify.

When in deadly dilemma,
when beset by doulbt,
fly in little circles,
laugh and CHILL OUT
-Popular saying amongst Air Elementals

Whidel

Before long, Whidel is convinced that his Air Elementals can look after themselves for some time, so he decides to go and see how the universe has changed during his brief visit in the White World's atmosphere. To his surprise, entire worlds have been created, and four more gods have joined the ranks of divinity. Some of the new arrivals are of distinctly unpleasant sort, however, so he avoids them. Anyone with aura that dark is propably not someone he wants to know anyway.

Seeing that many gods have already created their own seats of power, the god of Air grins and streches his arms in preparation before beginning to weave breezes and currents, giving them life and purpose of their own. The resulting material is as light as breeze and as capable of being shifted into many shapes, but it still lacks something...Certain solidity to make it useful.

Snapping his fingers when inspiration hits him, the god zooms through the universe to the Dark Planet, carefully picking up piece of Aether-rich stone from it and trying to combine his weaves of air with it. The result is very unexpected, the rock melting into the currents when he applies his divine power to it and forming new kind of substance entirely. Durable as hardest rock, but as capable of twisting and bending as lightest breeze. Happy to see that his efforts are not in vain, he flies back to the White Planet, spreading his arms and beginning to create more of the new substance, spreading it across the globe. And the substance he names Windstone, for that is quite an apt description of it's peculiar properties.

Using 1 Divine Point to create Windstone and spread it across White World

Chuckling to himself at inventing something actually useful, he begins weaving with the new substance, smiling to a curious crowd of Air Elementals who have come to witness his work. The Windstone twists and bends easily to his power, shaping into immense floating continent circling the world high in it's atmosphere. His creations need a home to call their own, after all.

Using 1 divine point to alter the White World and create the Flying Continent from Windstone

Stopping his weaving and seeing that his creations are already curiously exploring their new home, Whidel nods in satisfaction and flies off to seek the rest of his kind... Only to stop as he sees rather peculiar newcomer. Or pair of them, in fact: two beings, both gods judging by their unique aura. Well, he might as well speak to the pair: they seem interesting enough!

"Hello there! I have not seen you two around before!" he says cheerily to Feltel, floating somewhat about them and eying them curiously with his sparkling blue eyes, not much unlike one of his Air Elementals when they get curious of other newly created beings. "I am Whidel, creator of all kinds of neat stuff such as Air! Who are you two?"

"First there was no life, then there was life"
-Terranie saying

Upon the unnamed White Planet, life explodes into a million varieties. Kobolds take to the hills and mountains, digging trenches and building walls to stop their enemies. Elves descend across the forests and jungles, more agile then any ape. The Terranie take to the fields, growing fields upon fields of wheat, barley and corn and trading it with the other races. In the skies, Dragons took to the air, competing with the laughing Air Elementals for dominance of the sky. Across the snow-capped peaks the Aresul roosted and waited for the years to pass so that they could undertake the White Migration to change the seasons. From the shadows the Radashtan strike, killing the unwary in the night and spilling blood in the name of their dark lord. On the Grey Planet, the Golems put the Hammer of Voroshk to good use, carving their mountain home into a fortress nigh undefeatable, decorated with geometric shapes. Amongst them all are Humans, a hodge-podge of the different races, both good and evil, hateful and caring, greedy and generous.

Amongst the Gods, dissent grows and it quickly becomes apparent that the Gods are not united in their purpose. The Mortals look to the heavens nervously, a sense of doom having touched each one. Though times are gentle now, the Aether foretells violence and an age of Recokoning not yet arrived. This is how the Third Era dawns.

Whidel

Smiling and flying around the pair of goddesses in exitement, the god of Air creates mini-tornado without even fully realizing it, his cheerful laugh riding along the twisting currents and echoing in the winds for thousands of miles around. "Freedom and Balance! Indeed, I can see us working together closely in the future, sisters! I am glad to have met you both! You seem like very good company, simply delightful! Ehehehe! I will catch you later, dear sisters!"

With that, he zooms off so fast that a faint after-image is left behind for split second and sonic boom follows some seconds later, the air itself merely now realizing that a god has sped through it with speed unequalled by anything in exitence. After all, he has so much to do still! The universe needs things that only his imagination can provide, and his imagination is quite an active one.

But before doing anything else, he is quite sure that he has to check in with some of his favourite brothers. Stopping in the hall of the gods, Whidel grins and lets out a piercing whistle that only gods can hear, calling out to his brothers. "Kar-Leon, Moskul, Nordul! Sitting on his chair and throwing his feet on the table in very relaxed posture, he looks exited. "And my idea, yes! You see, I have come to realize that there will be trouble in the horizon, thanks to some of our more reckless brothers. You have seen it already, just like I have, and I would much rather keep my creations safe, as well as all of yours. Life in all it's forms and the wonderous things that we create should be preserved, but we might be somewhat hard-pressed to do it alone at times!"

"So what I realize is that we four start working more closely together, protecting the creations of each other and giving assistance to one another instead of all withdrawing into our own private resorts. We can do so much more if we work together, after all... And to begin our co-operation, I propose that we create something together. An artifact that can borrow all of our respective powers."

"I agree that we could give this artifact intelligence and purpose of it's own, but I urge you to reconsider on number of mortals it would choose. If we limit it too much, a single malicious aspirant could cause much destruction before we could contain of will them out of existence. I suggest that we let the artifact itself decide, and form an order taken from all races. That way, there will be no favouring and no disputes amongst the races on the privledge of becoming chosen for the task. Also, when this artifact is complete and working, we should merely ward it but not interfere with the working of the order it creates."

Kar-Leon pondered his brother's works carefully. "While I agree that we must take action to protect creation, I say that we must use caution in our plans to prevent from provoking our more... irresponsible Brothers. I gladly volunteer my moon as use for all of us. I meant for the Library to be open to all who wish to use it. As with the artifact, perhaps we should be the first to choose a group, the best representative from every sentiant species from the planet, for not all of any race are evil, not even the dragons," with thoes words, Kar-Leon took a quarter of the original dragons that were created by Mordeshul, and gave them alignments of good. He also gave them the three diffrent colors of his precious metals, Gold, Silver, and Platnium, and gave them three seperate alignments along the Law-Chaos axis, for he knows that the best way to do good is not always lawful, so he made the Silver Dragons Chaotic-Good, the Platniums Neutral-Good, for what better way to judge which way is best, and the Golden Dragons Lawful-Good, the better to create good laws. He was satisfied with the results. "There, now all species on the planet have a sizable representation of good. Anyway, sorry for the distraction; for our artifact, perhaps we should create something that one from any of the species could use. A sword, for example, is hard to hold in a Dragon's claws. For that reason, perhaps we could each create an item, that when used near each-other's, would become even more powerful than when used alone. This way too, we could prevent alarming our brethren. And I suggest moving to a more secure location, such as the Moon, to avoid unintended evesdroppers."

Voroshk looks upon Moskul's towers and is intrigued, though not completely pleased. Nevertheless, he carries out his word.

A spear is slowly forged, made of the elements native to the Grey planet, metals and magic. The spear is sharp enough to penetrate any armor, enchanted to pass through any ward, able to cause lasting damage in the most durable of foes, faster than the non-divine eye can track, and able to return to its owner's hand with a thought. All of these qualities will be known to the owner, Moskul's hunter. Secretly, he adds a condition to the weapon: it will only ever break when used against him or his Golems.

With his work complete, the weapon vanishes from his hands and appears floating before Moskul.

1 point to craft another artifact. As usual, it isn't named.

Voroshk's attention then turns to his Golems. They are progressing nicely, yes, but much too slowly. He imbues them with some of his divine power, enabling the entire race to wield magic, both in combat and in crafting.

He then selects a single Golem to be his avatar and voice to the Golems. This avatar is left with instructions:

Use my hammer and your new knowledge to propagate. Do so quickly, for once you have engulfed this planet I shall aid you in spreading to the others. Once this time comes, you will be my war-leader and shall lead your brethren to glory.

With this work complete, Voroshk is pleased.

1 point to advance the Golems by giving them knowledge of magic, including the ability to bind magic into inert bodies to create more Golems.

1 point to designate a Golem as Voroshk's avatar.

Locathan looked at the emerging conflict between the gods and spoke, for the second time in eons.

No. It is not yet time.

It knew how the worlds were supposed to end, and it was not in this fashion. So it moved against the tide, and began to construct its masterpiece.

It was called The Guardian, a being so vast that It's eyes were twin suns. It's body was constructed from a new material, harder than adamantine, but this body could not be comprehended by anything but the gods.

Locathan poured some of his essence into the shell of this being of ultimate power, giving It the ability to see the True Apocalypse, and requested the other gods do the same, to give It new capabilities from their own powers. And then Locathan tore a hole in the wall of reality, and created a new planet, with a seal at its core that would only open in time of need, and when all the gods that would had poured their own essences into the new being, Locathan sealed it away, only to be released when the world was in premature danger.

1 point to create The Guardian, 1 point to tear a hole in the fabric of the Aether, 1 point to create the Seal planet

So, who's going to help with this guardian?

"Brothers, we must allow the mortals to protect themselves. And we cannot create an artifact that is completely safe. But if it can guide and choose mortals of its own will, it will know best how to dispose of its power. Only a creation such as an artifact cannot be corrupted or change its will. If we see that it is good, then we will allow it to create an order to defend what is good. If we see that it is flawed, we will purge it or start anew.

"And not all aggression is bad. There are evils in the world, that must be destroyed sooner or later. And new evils will ever arise. War or no war, there must be a hunt. And my hunter is ready; I only wish that the mortals will have a protector when war breaks out."

1 point to create The Guardian, 1 point to tear a hole in the fabric of the Aether, 1 point to create the Seal planet

So, who's going to help with this guardian?

The Great Dragon flies over to the newly formed Guardian, picks him up, and shoves it in the hole in reality. Shouting at the Guardian, he states, "DO NOT MOVE FROM THIS PLACE. YOUR VERY PRESENCE SERVES AS A PATCH, A TEMPORARY SOLUTION TO YOUR CREATOR'S SHORTSIGHTED RECKLESSNESS. YOU WILL PREVENT THIS TEAR FROM BECOMING WORSE OR YOU WILL PERISH."

To Locathan, he bellows "YOU WHO CALL YOURSELF DESTROYER, WHO SO ARROGANTLY PROCLAIMS KNOWLEDGE OF THE END OF ALL THINGS. KNOW THAT I CAME BEFORE YOU, AND THAT I AM THE TRUE BRINGER OF DESTRUCTION. LEARN YOUR PLACE OR RISK MY WRATH."

And so Mzuuthn'liex placed upon the Guardian and rift a sigil rune of Destruction, so that should the Guardian move or be moved from where he had been placed, he would dissolve into raw aether to seal the rift.

With his rebuke given, the Great Dragon flew off into the Aether.

With that, for several ages, Locathan went unseen, moving out far into the cosmos. Moving out among the same path his strangelets took...

Incorrect, sibling. War embodies balance and growth. Without war, mortals will grow fat and complacent, empires will grow much too strong, and ingenuity will falter. Only through war do the races strive to create, and find balance in power.

Know that while I embody war, I do not do so out of a desire for destruction, or death, or bloodshed. It is natural, and it is a catalyst for good.

What I said can easily apply to us as well. Without conflict, we will grow weak and complacent. Easily manipulated. Even if a war between us devastates everything, the survivors will find balance in the aftermath. The reality of war is unfortunate at such a developmental stage, but without some sort of reckoning the more reckless among us will only see fit to cause more trouble.

"It is remarkable that the gods first war was a war of words and actions."
-A View of the Troubled Times

For a full era the gods debate, each presenting there side, their ideas and their views. It quickly becomes apparent that a decision will be very difficult to reach. Tempers run thin, accusations are hurled and the very Aether shakes with the power of the gods words.

The Mortals quickly find themselves with a new gift, a tool with which they can control their own destiny. Whereas before they had been numerous and each lost had been irreplacable, they could now reproduce. Several races quickly exploded, the Humans and Kobolds chief among them. It was not long before the two races were locked in a bitter war, the Kobolds desiring the Humans farmlands and the Humans desiring the Kobolds gold. From the forests and jungles, the Elves watched in concern as both sides warred. Four Seasons passed and still the gods debated and still the races warred.

On the Grey Planet, the Golems spread ever onwards, their streets and square, symetrical buildings covering the surfaces of the grey planet. With their newfound gift of magic, the Golems were able to create more Golems made of Bricarnium, and Darcarnium. In the farther reaches of the Grey Planet, Blue, Purple and pink trees made of jagged crystal rise from the grey stone and the golems quickly make weapons and focus for their magic from it. The Golems made a leader, whose Form was metal his eyes crystal and his blood and soul of magic called ZIIXX. As magic brought about consiousness, ZIIXX was imbued with a tiny spark of the Ultimate Creators power and a fraction of his ultimate goal was revealed. The Golems mobilized for war.

In the Aether, Locathan was thwarted by Mzuuthn'liex whose voice was rage. Locathans creation was hidden within a tear in the Aether and any movement of the Guardian would seal the hole in the Aether.

Upon Euclidia, hapless mortals are drawn here by the strange portals and quickly devoured by the strange, cannabilistic Things. Those that somehow manage to escape speak of terrors that dwell not upon the White Planet, if they speak at all.

Thus began the 4th Era.

As always, if there's anything I missed, please let me know. Also, for the time being I'm going to put a limit of 10 Divine Points. If you'd like to repeal this, say so in the OOC thread and we'll discuss it there.

Rules for God Warfare
As the 4th Era Dawns, Battle between gods can begin.

To kill a god, you must reduce him to negative divine points and keep him or her there for at least one round. If you reduce a god to -1 Divine Points but the next round starts and he gains 3 divine points then he will start the round alive, and with 2 Divine Points.

There are a few ways to damage gods. The first is to attack them directly, which costs 1 divine point on the attackers part and does 1-2 Divine Points of Damage to the defender. Artifacts can increase the damage dealt, or decrease the damage taken. If you slay a god, you will receive a one-time bonus of +2 Divine Points at the beggining of the next round.

You can also damage a gods income by commanding your worshipers(via dreams, visions, direct commands, etc as long as it fits your god) or your minions directly to wage war on the races and minions of the other gods of the other gods. Destroying their shrines, causing natural diasters or famine or even converting their followers will also damage their income when the next round starts. Gods can take steps to defend against such things as well.

Gods can heal other gods using a divine point as well. The healed god receives one divine point back, but only one divine point can be spent by the one doing the healing in this way.

If you have a question or an idea, or want to wage warfare in a more unconventional way, message me or ask in the OOC thread.

But for now, there are more pressing concerns. War is coming, and he must be ready. Voroshk disappears for a time, hiding away in the fires of the Golem's mountain, forging a new artifact. After a time he emerges, clad in new armor, forged of precious materials and more ornate than it was before.

Mzuuthn'liex unleashes his breath into the Aether, casting it Locathan's way.

On the black planet, the serpent rouses and scours the world for the Ender Stone, seizing it in it's jaws.

Elsewhere, the black dragon flight descends on the seal planet of Locathan, ravaging the world and desecrating it until it is naught but a cursed, powerless rock.

Spending 3 divine points to attack Locathan directly, sending my minions on the offensive. The Serpent to seize his artifact, and the black dragons to take his world.

As he's not paying attention, several buds open and close, spitting out hovering, insectile creatures that begin seeding the other worlds with plantlife.
The Black Planet grew dark and fierce, giant moving cacti that wander the planet and consume what nutrients they find, and slowly making an atmosphere as well.
The moon, on the other hand, grew small vibrant forests, with the plants of both the White and Gray Planets.

(Point 1: Make Minion race-Krehn. Insectile creatures that continuously carry the seeds of new plantlife to the worlds and will interfere with direct attacks upon the worlds or Nordul.
Point 2: Make race-Cactus Folk. Wandering cacti that look for any source of food. That includes the other races.
Point 3: Create forest-Moon.)

Voroshk joins Mzuuthn'liex in his attack on Locathan silently, instead gathering his words and will and sending the attack streaking across the Aether toward Locathan. He then rejoins the majority of his brothers, waiting for his assault to catch up with Locathan.

1 point to attack Locathan directly. No special artifacts were used in the attack, though I kind of wish I had borrowed the Golem Hammer for it.

Kar-Leon, brother, I ask your permission to seed the moon you created with mortals. If you wish, I can substitute a new race, more like the mortals on the White than my previous creations. There is no reason to let such a land go unsettled.

Nay. I plan for my Moon to be a paradise for those mortals I judge to have led good, moral lives. I will allow visitors from all races, so long as they do not attempt to do harm to it, but aside from my creations, I would prefer no new native life. If you wish, a small colony of your Golems to inhabit the far side of the moon, under the direction of the Samaritans, to mine the three metals I infused with the Moon, but no more.

Locathan takes four points of damage from the Dragon of Rages attack as well s the surprise attack from Voroshk. Upon the black planet, the Ender Stone is seized in the great serpents jaws where it is held. Obsidian Dragons descend from the Aether, blasting the Sealed Planets already barren surface with gouts of flame, until the surface was charred black.

At Moskul's nod, Gor the Hunter flies likewise towards Locathan's place with his seven hounds, and begins to hunt down any black dragons who stray too far from the flank. The hounds separate one dragon at a time, driving it away from the masses, and Gor strikes again and again with his spear. But they avoid direct conflict; if the masses of the dragons, or if the serpent goes towards them, they will fall back until they can kill them off one at a time.

Moskul speaks, "We must unite. Those who do act against the will of the pantheon must not succeed. But the artifact must be made. On the white planet, on an island cliff far above the sea, I now create a fountain glowing with a white fire. Thus earth, air, water, and fire shall all be present. I give it freedom of will, and a desire to impart strength to its servants, and to send them across the earth to protect freedom. May all of you also add to this work, giving it wisdom that it may use its freedom well."

1 point to create artifact, which has an intelligence and will of its own, but a desire to protect mortals' freedom.

1 point to let it send servants instantly to any part of the white planet, not to return till their tasks are completed

Voroshk then descends to the mountain, to speak with ZIIXX.

You, and all of my creations, please me greatly. I feel pride in your accomplishment, and now I come to you with direction. Use the hammer and your magic, forge portals by which you can travel to and from the ever-glowing moon, and the White nearby. Send a small amount of my creations to the moon. They will be met by the creations of another, and they will be directed to a place where they can acquire great quantities of metal. They are not to be hostile.

Prepare the rest of my creations for glorious battle. Many must remain here, strengthening themselves and creating new soldiers and builders, but it is time to spread beyond this world.

Kar-Leon hangs his shame in bitter disappointment, and a single, large tear rolls of the end of his nose while he is in transit to his Moon, and it falls into the seas of the White Planet, giving them much more salinity (Comparable to Earth's oceans). Even before reaching his Moon, he pauses and makes it so that the life that resides in the oceans could adapt to the sudden change, and thrive in it.
On his Moon he sets to immediate action. First, he makes his own addition to the Artifact, giving it the ability to choose it's own party that wishes to use it not for their own gain, but to help the lives of all by using it to prevent further violence. (a.k.a.: only those pure-of-heart)
Next, he wards the Moon to allow only those that Kar-Leon would judge to be of Good moral character to be on the Moon, or close enough for something to orbit it, without Kar-Leon's willing permission.
He then visits the leader of the Elves, and grants him great gifts: great intelligence, strength, wisdom, agility, toughness, and the ability to rally all Good peoples in times of desperation.
He then turns to his second in command of the Samaritans (head Samaritan) I have given my permission to Voroshk to have a small number of his Golems to mine on the axial opposite from the Library. Take another 20 with you to overlook their operations. Allow only those I would allow on the Moon, and do not let them to tamper with the integrity of the Moon. I do not want more than forty Golems on the Moon at any one time.

Four Divine Points used:

2) Alter the Artifact

4)Grant Miracle: Grant very high Int, Str, Wis, Dex, Cha, and Con scores to Elven leader.

Doga Making Plans
Doga looked upon the war of the gods, and the great destruction that was being wrought by their anger, and the fact that they could suffer was like a sword through Doga's heart. The suffering was too much for Doga, even though he wasn't being harmed directly. Quietly, out of all the god's knowledge, he lovingly and laborously made a new Avatar. He named this Avatar, Rados. Rados was unique in that it had a seperate, but somehow identical, ego.

The Avatar, Rados, had a will, emotions and even freewill of it's own, although it was a different person, Doga had made sure that it had clear understanding of many things that all other later creations of Doga would not have, and much greater power.

And when he looked upon his kin, Whidel was dispointed and saddened, for they plunged the creation into chaos. Thus, he begun to lose his faith to the rest of the gods... And sought to be free from the war that they had brought into existence. For freedom was in his very nature, and no god could go against what they were.
-Taken from Collected writings of Yernian Skylords, written century or so after Troubled Times

Whidel

For the first time since forming into existence, Whidel is well and truly saddened. His kin are arguing and fighting each other, their races going to war, and very fate of the universe taking sharp turn for the worse as his siblings cannot simply seem to form agreement about anything. This is most definitely not something that he wants: sadly, it is not something that he can prevent either. To his mind, the situation is only solvable in one way.

Raising from his seat, the young god leaves the company of his siblings with very saddened and solemn expression, observing the worlds as they are wracked by one cataclysm after another as he flies past. If his brothers cannot simply co-exist peacefully, he will leave to form a world more to his liking and leave them to their squabbles. Taking part in this fighting is something he most definitely does not feel like doing.

Stopping at the edge of the known universe, Whidel sighs to himself and begins weaving the fabric of reality, flying around the new world as he slowly shapes it into being from nothingless. This world is not like the others, it's core that of brightly burning star, and it's continents Windstone floating in air above it. The constant air currents and renewable life of the new world will make it completely self-suitainable: a small piece of calm in universe wracked by strife.

And to that world, Whidel weaves a new race, his smile gradually returning as he designs his new children and weaves protection around the new world. Slowly, a race of winged, keen-sensed humanoids with powers over air is woven into existence with the god's power, and they begin to settle their new world, blissfully unaware of the universe beyond.

With the new race finished, Whidel sets about to guarding his new creation against the other deities with seriousness very unlike himself, weaving tearing winds of cosmic power to shield the new world and it's inhabitants from creations of others that try to arrive into the world or affect it without his consent. And part of those winds he takes and twists into form of small rod, a tool that he will be using for a long, long time afterwards.

Using 1 divine point to Alter Aether (creating Eye of the Storm, the new world), 1 divine point to Create Life (Yernians), 1 point to Alter Aether (creating the divine storms that guard Eye of the Storm, controllable only to Whidel without extreme effort on godly scale and capable to hurting even divine beings) and lastly 1 point to Create an Artifact (Rod of Storms)

Divine points left afterwards: 0

Rod of Storms

Created by Whidel from part of great divine storms he forced into being to protect his new world, Rod of Storms has power over air and is capable of granting even normal mortal divine powers controlling air and storms, both natural and supernatural. With Rod of Storms, the air itself becomes the user's tool: he can use it to attack, defend, fly and even create air elementals and natural disasters if he is so inclined.

Moskul flew to earth and created a fleet of ships, fashioned out of ebony and oak, with dark gray sails. He made a guardian to keep us from rending each other asunder, and while he tore the Aether, he thought he was helping. You, on the other hand, stole your minions, sow discord in your fury, and while you also meant well in your actions against the Guardian, have handled things poorly, leaving one of our kin nearly destroyed and his works in rubble, which should be more than punishment enough for the threat you had perceived. Vel'kor

And so, as the planet stood between the others, there was a flash, and one final thing was taken from it, then, in a symphony of power, creation occured, and Tra'il'grigio was truely blessed.
The Book of Vel'kor

And so it was, standing between the portals, Vel'kor set up a barrier and a workshop, the power flooding between worlds as Vel'kor drew from both planets. Around both the portals, a sphere was created, with two pin prick holes, north and south, making everything inside undetectable, but allowing the planets escence to bleed into The Grey planet. And inside this sphere, between the portals, Vel'kor set up in a space much to small for its size, a sprawling workshop, for all sorts of experimentation and works.

1 Act: Create Vel'kor's Workroom. Artifact that helps in creation of creatures and artifacts (When =, Vel'kor's win)
2 Acts: Create the Silencing Dome: The Portals, Vel'kor's Workroom and everything within are hidden.

But the draw was not the only truth in Vel'kor's Bible. All this change had created turbulence in the Aether, creating watching spirits which he all to eagerly used. With 1 half of his energy, Vel'kor created the Bright Ones. They apeared human, but were above in power, will, and light, sheding some such was their light. Yet their numbers were few, but they were content on their northan continent. With the other half, Vel'kor created the Dark Shifters, Abberent shapechangers of extreme potency, but somewhat instable, and these beings to were few, and content on theirs the southern continent, if more agressive.

All this time, Vel'kor ignored the gods raging, with good purpose, and waited, catching his breath, to create his final two children.

1 Act: Create the Bright One's. A race of highly magical humans, who are almost angelic. They have a natural link with Bricarnium.
1 ActL Creat the Dark Shifters, powerful shapechanging abberants, whose natural form is demonic, with blackened skin and powerful wrings, but no hornes, their powers are slightly instable. They have a natural link with Darcarnium.

"Mzuuthn'liex was the first to prove deicide was possible, though few of the mortals stopped to notice the ramifications that this entailed. Not at the time."
-The Final Words of Ukira, Kobold War-seer.

With an Aether-shaking cry, the god Locathan is murdered by the great dragon and from a knife in the dark, an unknown hand. Locathans blood spilled across the Aether, painting it with red stars visible only on days that great blood had been shed. Deicide has been proven possible and the Aether itself wanes with the death of one of it's creations.

New life continues to fill the planets, but it seems a dark shadow had been cast over everything. The normally joyous Whidel drew away from his companions, creating a world far from the others, isolating himself from the others with a divine storm.

Across the Black Planet, twisted and hardy cacti shamble across black plains, greedily devouring what little nutrients they can find. In the skies orbiting the black planet a green moon appeared as well and from its skin came the Krehn who spread away from their home to travel the Aether and deposit seeds across the world. Even on the Black planet, hardy shrubs and roots began to take hold in the arid soil. Across the other worlds a new and surprising variety of plants grew and flourished. It was due to this explosive rise of plants that the 4th Era, despite the tragedy became known among the simpler folk as the Green Era.

The Golems of the Grey planet had reached an industrial peak. Metal locations had all been mapped out and the Golems turned to the portals to seek more. Within the portals lie more minerals they knew. The Golems did not hesitate to go to war.

The first March of the Golems will forever be a historic event. Wave upon wave of the iron, gold and steel machines burst forth from seemingly nowhere and descended upon the unsuspecting races. Human, Kobold, Elves, Terranie and even the mighty dragons were slain in droves. Columns of refugees fled burning homes only to be cut down by opposing armies that still bore grudges. Across a forty square mile radius, woods were slashed and burned, their trees used to make arrows and siege weapons, the mountains mined to produce steel and even more golems and the stone used to erect the first golem outpost on the White Planet called WAAR. Here the Golems reorganized and prepared to plunge deeper into the mortals homelands.

Across the Aether Gor and the seven Hounds continued to hunt the Black Dragons, driving them from their hiding places and slaying them. While numerous Black Dragons could easily hold their own against the Hunter, the Hunter did not play fairly. Instead, he lured, trapped, tricked and deceived them into solitude before revealing himself. On some nights the planets could even hear the baying of the hounds and something even more unusual: Fear in the Black Dragons cries.

The most significant action of the Era was the creation of the White Stone Fountain. Towering nearly 20 meters into the air and carved with the images of the gods and the mortal races along it's base it remained undiscovered for years. It wasn't until a mysterious fleet of ships with an even more mysterious leader landed on the island(Which had since become a massive fortress of stone, wood and metal) before vanishing into the Aether. The Mortals knew little of the power of the White Stone Fountain, but the Fountain knew much of them. It called to them and chose one of each of the races present, as well as calling a dragon and an air elemental from the sky. To each it gave a gift, the gift of Knowing. Before they had not known how there life was to end, nor the life of their brothers or sisters or even the gods above. But with the power of the Fountain, each now knew the many ways that death could come... To all Mortals. But they also knew how to protect against it. The second gift the Fountain granted was Empathy. All pain, heartache, loss, grief and despair across all the mortals was felt by the chosen mortals and the fountain itself.

Thus began the Fifth Era.

His rage long spent, Mzuuthn'liex takes the Ender stone from the Serpent and flies to the ruined world that had once belonged to the self-proclaimed Destroyer. Crushing the Ender stone in his claw, he scattered the dust over the surface of the desolate world before he began gouging into the rock in soil.
Toiling until the world was had been significantly hollowed, he spoke to the black dragons, allowing them to live as they willed until he called on them again. As the Serpent went back to slumber on the black world, Mzuuthn'liex settled into the hollow core of the ruined world and went into his own sleep.

Spending 1 divine point to destroy the Ender Stone and scatter the dust over the ruined world that belonged to Locathan, claiming the world as my own. Spending 1 divine point to hollow much of the world out and form the hollow into Mzuuthn'liex's lair.

Moskul created an avatar, a great bird embodied with his essence, and left it to wander above the seas forever, to bring luck to travelers and to protect the ocean and the wild gulls. With that he returned to the hall of the fourteen, mourning for the those who were missing.

Gor the Hunter continues to harry the dragons. The seven hounds hunt them out of the deepest crevices of their planet and Gor slays each with his spear, adding their claws to his belt.

Within his mountain, hidden from all eyes, Voroshk forges a new artifact. He finally emerges with it, a weapon to replace the hammer he has given to his Golems. It is a great axe, honed to perfection, named Sunder.

His second act of the age is to create a new system of gateways.. There is a gateway on all the primary celestial bodies, including the White planet, Black planet, and water planet, as well as Kar-Leon's moon. Additionally, one gateway is linked to a gateway in space, orbiting the Grey planet. A gateway corresponding to each of these is located inside the mountain on the Grey planet. Travel through these gateways is restricted to those who have keys, defined as any artifact crafted by the himself or the hammer he left in the hands of the Golems.

His acts of creation complete, Voroshk commands his Golems:

Spread. Take everything.

He then waves his hand, inscribing a rune deep within the soul of each Golem, designed to ward the race against divine meddling.

2 points to create Sunder, an artifact axe.

1 point to open the portals. On the White planet, the gateway will be placed within the walls of WAAR.

My final point of the round goes toward warding the Golems against all divine influence, including my own.

Nordul wept at the loss of their brother, for many years. Then, he saw the march of the golems to conquer all, and what Voroshk had done.
"This will not do, to have one race conquer all."
He looked to the shards of the trees he had made on the Gray Planet, and back to their origin. Breathing life into their shards, he makes them all parasitic, with golems as their main source of food.
"Forgot about them, didn't you, brother?"
He looks to his people, warring with the humans still. He sends a small seed down to the planet (at least, small to the gods). Where it lands, a tiny fraction of him grows, and goes to his people. Thus, did Nordul come to walk amongst his people in this time of strife.
(1 point to make the trees parasitic, slowly using the golems as a food source and a way to spread their species. 1 point to make an Avatar to help his kobolds.)

Kar-Leon is stunned and Horrifyed by Locathan's death. Even while he did not agree with his thoughts that all creation at one point must be destroyed, he was still a god and his Brother.
Mzuuthn'liex, you will pay for this! Not now, and not for awhile, but Know this, your punishment, along with Voroshk's, will be harsh and just! Kar-Leon vows before moving back to his Moon. There, he sets to making an artifact for his followers. This artifact has no set shape. Instead, it starts out in the form of a book, but, upon being grasped by a mortal of Good moral character who wishes to help all living beings, no matter the species, it grants the user to use both Divine and Arcane magics that could almost rivial that of the gods, and it turns into a weapon that would be best to be used by whatever species uses it. It could not stay in possesion of a single user for more than one year, however, for at the end of the year, the power given by The book of Kar-Leon would consume the body of the user, killing his link to mortality for all eternity, and giving him residence upon the Moon for all after-life. Those that were of neither good nor evil would be compulsed to imeadiatly set the book down and to rid itself from its presence for a number of hours. Of those that are evil and touch it, only the most powerfull and under the direct protection of their gods will not be completely and utterly destroyed. Those that survive must never set sight upon the book again.
After he completed it, he gave it to his cheif Samaritan to give to the leader of the Elves. He then spoke to all that are good. It is time. You must band together under the leadership of Armlios [leader of the elves] to fight for your homes. Rid your planet of the scourage of the Golems, for they threaten your very existance. Do so now.
He then turned to his servants, the Samaritans. Remove the creations of Voroshk from my sanctuary!
Three Divine Points consumed:
2) Creating The Book of Kar-Leon Those of neutral alignment must stay away from the book for 1d20 hours minus base will save.
Those of evil alignment must make a DC 30 will save or be destroyed, soul included. Those that survive must make the same save each time they lay sight on it.
1) Rallying all good, non-Golem mortals to war against the Golems.

Many mistake wind for life-giving, gentle force. That is not true. While it is true that it has those qualities, one would be a fool to ignore it's power. A slight breeze can quickly turn into raging storm, and when loosed fully wind's fury can tear down civilizations and even shake gods on their thrones. So remember what I am about to teach you, younglings, for to anger the wind is to fall headfirst into your own grave.
-Sc'rett, a senior Skylord, instructing novices

Even when hidden from the universe and watching over his newly created people beyond raging divine storms, Whidel can still feel the death of one of his brothers rattle the universe. Stars turn red as if bleeding, and Aether itself seems to be in anguish over the death of one of it's sons. Dropping into sheer dive from his stable flight, Whidel allows himself to hit one of the floating continents making up the Eye of the Storm, making it tremble and shake as great impact crater is formed around him. His robes steaming and hissing after the impact, Whidel looks into the sky in silence... And suddenly lets out a howl. A great, terrible howl of untold grief and rage, sounding quite much like some horrid beast about the end the universe. All around known creation winds suddenly become frenzied, Whidel's howl mixing into them to create raging wails of grief, with smaller tones whispering "trechery!" and "murderers!" quietly but still audiably.

A miniature but terribly potent storm manifests around Whidel as he slowly stands up, it's power shaking the island he stands on before he takes flight again. His passage nearly tears open the fabric of creation itself, what is bending and shifting around him from sheer strenght of his uncontrolled power. Heading to the center of the universe, to the hall of the gods, Whidel raises his voice again, screaming with rage once again before sending out a message to Mzuuthn'liex with his mind.

You have slain one of your own family, one of our brothers! We are the firstborn of Aether, and yet you would turn your hand against one of your kin instead of trying to preserve peace? And for what? Meaningless conflict over small slights?! You are cursed, Kinslayer, and all of what is will know it. Your punishment will come soon, for there is no escape from what you have done!

Whidel's normally so cheerful face is twisted with agony and hatred, his eyes on white fire as he raises his fist in the air. "Curse you! CURSE YOU BOTH, Mzuuthn'liex and Voroshk! I will make you PAY for your transgressions against the creation! Brothers, I call you to me! Come to hall of divinity, and we shall punish those who try to wreck all that we hold dear! This age of suffering and destruction must end, and it is time we avenge that what we can no longer defend!"

"Brother, are you attempting to spread dissent among the gods? To spark further bloodshed? While I would normally approve of all warfare, I do not think now is the time for us to fight. The Aether is still reeling from the death of the usurper, a tragic necessity. What might the death of another do to it?"

Within his dreams, the Mzuuthn'liex felt the death of each dragon. Taking some of his power, he infused the dragons. They would become swifter, stronger, more intelligent, and a most important change had come to them all. When on dragon died, all the other dragons would receive it's power; in turn, they would grow mightier in all things.

1 divine point, Changing all dragons so they are more powerful, faster, and more intelligent. His face still twisted into hateful countenance, Whidel points at Voroshk with Rod of Storms, the small, elaborately carved piece of smooth white wood extending until it is a quarterstaff crackling with thunder and surrounded with wind that make his long, mist-like hair swirl like miniature cloud. "You are fooling yourself. There is no dissent to spread, for there is no one to take your side. It is not dissent if you are alone with your delusions. Rather, it is call to arms against a butcherer of everything we have tried to accomplish."

Gripping the staff with both hands, Whidel spins it around himself, hovering slightly off the floor as miniature tornado forms around him. "And that "usurper" was your brother. Show his passing proper respect and grief, for it was not a necessity. Nothing like one of us destroying another is necessary!"

"And don't worry, Voroshk... I am not like you. I know many ways to make you harmless that do not require me to kill you. So call your golems off the other races, or you can gamble it and see how nice I am after one of my brothers has been killed."

"As for the Golems, they will do as they will. They will succeed, or fail, by their own actions. But if the actions of mortals gives you such grief and anger, brother, I will give them a code to fight by. Looking at Voroshk again with disgust, Whidel shakes his head. "You don't understand... but I suppose you never did. The ashes of the Aether coalesced, vibrating in a final whisper, that would be immortalised in myth as the Song of Locathan.

...And as the god of Entropy passed into a state of inert uniformity, his atoms settled down to watch. For even in these early days, the End of All Things began to take shape. It began with the spilling of the blood of a single deity. It would end with the spilling of the blood of every deity...

Across the Aether, these words swept, ingraining themselves into holy books and the minds of priests. For while the god was dead, its creations still remained - disease still ravaged the lands, and the strangelets still floated in space, awaiting their final cue. And perhaps, somewhere, an aspect of Locathan the Destroyer, Locathan the Slain, was still conscious, watching, waiting, as its final works began to take shape towards the dusk of reality...

And this is not completely bad. You may have wars, but choose your battles wisely. We will not tolerate war for war's sake alone. Fight traitors and backstabbers. Fight those who destroy without building up. Fight that which has become too powerful.

"The Golems were the greatest enemy to the world in the fifth era. More people were crushed under the iron feet of the golems, and no matter what, they just kept coming."
-The World: A Retrospect of the Last 10 Eras.

The White world was briefly brought to it's knees by the Golems. They marched straight into major cities and destroyed everything in their path. Cities, Mountains and forests were all torn down to make way for the Golem war machine. But then, the civilized races fought back. Massive flightless insects came forth and began to devour the Golems, their very touch causing the golems to falter and rust. Along the coast, dragons and elves staged daring hit and run attacks on Golems, destroying one or two before vanishing. To the north of WAAR, a combined army of Kobolds, Humans and Terranie was formed and stood fast against the Golem onslaught. On the Moon, a host of Samaritans descended upon the tiny Golem outpost and crushed it within hours. The Golems were forced to fall back on all fronts.

In the Aether, the Deities continued to argue, some seeking to avenge the death of Locathan and others simply not speaking or taking a side.

Thus began the sixth Era.

Divine Points-9(+1 Round, +1 Celestial Object, +1 Worshipers, +6 surplus)

NEW RULE: Imprisoning a God
Imprisoning a god takes the god out of play. To imprison a god, one Divine Point must be spent. Every round after, the cost to keep the god imprisoned is doubled. So the second round, 2 points must be spent to keep the god imprisoned, 4 points the 3rd round and so on. While imprisoned, the god will only gain a single Divine point every round, plus whatever they had before being imprisoned.

Multiple gods can contribute points to keep a god imprisoned. An imprisoned god may break free by spending more points then is spent keeping him imprisoned. The God is automatically freed if the upkeep cost can not be paid.

"This land still is missing something." Contemplating the world, he notices a lack of death in the forests. Those who live their die mainly of old age or being eaten. Reaching beneath his cowl, he grasps a bit of his flame and flings it to the ground. It starts the first forest fire, and burns continuously. It slowly consumes parts of the forest. Mordeshul's fire elementals frolic in this fire, delighting in the new flames to explore.

Still not calming down much but not attacking right away either, Whidel looks at Moskul. "So they can get away with all the suffering that they have caused by creating someone new? It is not the same, brother, and you know it. Those golems are still killing the mortals while we are held up in here, and killing one of our own is something that shouldn't and CANNOT be forgiven. What will you do when they begin to kill again and depend on your mercy to save them once again? I have not been part of creating this existence just to see wayward kin destroy it all to suit their own needs. We have to contain them: killing is not necessary, but we can make sure that they cannot hurt anyone."

"That is what I mean in a way, brother. They can't harm anyone if their power is bound to tasks of construction and peace and monitored. However, there shall be a reckoning if it happens again. As for the mortals, I will give them a fighting chance."
The plants rise up against the golems, manipulating the land and devouring them for nutrients. Meanwhile, in their tunnels, the kobolds find bountiful food for their rapidly growing populations, as the Avatar of Nordul finds them.
(1 point to make all forests gigantic mobile hive entities that use golems and forest fires with their dead to nourish the next generation, 1 point to make new food source of underground plant and fungus life for kobolds, to reduce war with other races later. Can I interact with them via my avatar in these posts?)

"If we give something freedom, they must be allowed to abuse it - at least to an extent. The golems are free. Now they wage war, but maybe sometime they will use their tireless strength for a better purpose. To heal and build up instead of killing and tearing down. Do not condemn them yet. And our brothers here, perhaps they cannot be forgiven. Creating something new is never a full replacement of the old. And perhaps they will never encourage that which is good. But perhaps they can. We must give them freedom, so that they can change. And sacrificing some of their own strength to create another would be a good first step."

The war against the Golems was going well and Raih was pleased with this. But the Golems never tired and don't have any fear.Raih then imbued some of the Radashtan with magical powers that could raise the dead back from the grave. This caste of Radashtan was named Necromancers and will supplying the war with hordes of undead.

Seemingly pondering the points presented by his brothers over for a moment or two, Whidel eventually calms down noticeably, looking very depressed and exhausted instead of wrathful. Really, it is rare wonder that he does not burst into tears in his current state.

"I...believe that you are right, brothers. We must have freedom: even if justice cannot be always done due to such, freedom must endure. That does not mean that I forgive them, however: slaying one of our own and starting war that has left countless mortals dead across all of the worlds are deeds that I will never forgive" he says, directing an angry glance at Voroshk. "If either of them will attempt anything like what they have done again, there will be a battle between us."

Half sitting and half collapsing into his seat, the god of air and life seems to lose his will to continue further with the arguments with his brothers, instead quietly sobbing for everything that has been lost meaninglessly.

"Perhaps they could create a balance - one who naturally works against their destruction, one free, yet naturally predisposed to bring peace and refuge."

Your threats are meaningless to me, brothers. I did what I thought was best for us all, and I shall do so again should the need arise. You may be weak, but do not assume that I am as well. If you act against me, either to imprison me or to force me to work against my best interests, I shall act to defend myself.

With that, Voroshk descends to his mountain to work while his brothers continue to bicker. The end result of his efforts is a giant metal box, twice as tall as a golem and with a recess in one size large enough to fit any golem that would stand in it. The box is made of copper and gold and steel, and threatens with spikes of onyx.

1 point to create the new artifact. It collects the souls of dead Golems, regardless of where they were when they died. A lifeless suit of armor can then be inserted into the recess and filled with the soul and memories of a dead Golem. This allows Golems to live and die multiple times, learning and experiencing more each time.

Moskul leaves the council, approaching the castle of Raih. His face was, as usual, fairly emotionless. "Brother mine, I have not seen much of you. I simply wondered... could you imbue the cold hearts of the golems with ambition, rivalry, and just the slightest touch of treachery?"

Raih only nod to Moskul and begin to imbue the Golems with ambitions, rivalry, and treachery.Raih hoped with this he could divide the Golems into warring factions that kill each other. But since the Golems would be brought back alive once defeated,it would create an endless war for the Golems and most importantly an endless chaos. After casting the magic,Raih only speak a few words to Moskul
"It is done"
