Neverwinter Nights! {Shadows of the Undrentide} What level am I supposed to be?

This is a simple question that is asked in the topic.
I don't want the game to be too easy, as it is at level 17 or something that I ended the game at.
Should I just start over as a new character, or use the Hordes of the Under dark expansion to build one up to a certain level? perhaps I should suck it up and use my current character? Will it balance out soon enough?

One. For Shadows of Undrentide, you should create a new first-level character.

Hordes of the Underdark expects a characters of level 12-15. It will presume your character has been through Shadows of Undrentide.

Neither will treat your character as having been through the Neverwinter Nights Official Campaign; the Hero of Neverwinter will be spoken of, as someone else.
