As the title states, how do they interact? Can I make a 20ft radius ball that traps people or does the spell fail? Just in an game question were having so i thought it'd ask here

They don't. Wall of Force is an Effect spell, not an area spell.

Ya, as Jack Smith said Wall of Force can't be modified by sculpt spell.
